First day, first album. Good genre bending album with some great tunes and aggressive vocals. I liked it and I’m glad to finally give more recognition to Beastie boys!

Knowing only ”I wanna be adored” which is a song that I really adooore, I had my hopes high. Unfortunately the rest of the album was bit of a led down, it did absolutely nothing to me. That said, I can still appreciate it though.
There were no stand out songs nor were there any terrible ones either. Just a OK.

Fun, fresh, funky. Definitely has one of the catchiest songs ever, yes you, Ms. Jackson.
Positive thing is that from this project I was really hoping to discover new music and I've never heard of Beth Orton so this was a really nice discovery (especially cause I listen to a lot of female singers of the 90's).
I liked a few songs a lot (”sweet decline” and ”couldn't cause me harm”), although some songs were kinda forgettable. But still this was sweet.
I would recommend everyone to take a deeper look into this project, if you're not already familiar with it. Beautiful piece of art.

I know giving this only 2 stars isn't much, but this was surprisingly a little bit more enjoyable that I would have though. I mean the album cover looks terrible and not a big fan of this specific 80's hard rock sound but yeah, not that bad!
Okay okay okay so I'm a bit conflicted. I always told myself that I never really liked coldplay and maybe some of that has to do with the image that has been painted for me: them just being really bland, bland and boring overrated band. And sure, some of their stuff is really just that and even many of their highly appreciated hits have never really resonated with me and some just sound god-awful. So I've just come to the conclusion that yeah don't care for them as much to really never give them a try, but now I can finally say that I've given them a fair try and at least listened to one of their albums. And after listening to this, I'm kinda surprised. It's not that bad! Not really my thing though, but not as terrible as I would have thought. So me rating this album still fairly low is still a positive thing because I really thought I was going to hate the shit ouf ot this.

Björk's my favorite artist, so I was obviously very excited to get this album today. Her music touches me like no other and this especially has got me through some shit. One of my all time favorites.
This is one of those folky albums which my mom used to play all the time when I was a kid. It brings me so many memories and holds a very sweet sweet spot in my life.

One of those albums I've meant to listen to for so long. So now after listening, I thought I would have like it more to be honest, but it's pretty solid
Ah well wasn’t this breeze of fresh air after having a bit of a tough time going trough this challenge. By far the most positively surprising discovery. Ofc I've known about George Michael before and listened to a lot of Wham back in the days. I don't know why but I just never was invested to look what else was there on his solo discography. I got ”Faith” a couple weeks back and was then pleasantly surprised by it. I really liked it and now this album just blew me away. George has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard, I never made the comparison but his voice reminds me a lot of Freddies. Beautiful piece of work and the album cover is brilliant. I’m happy to discover this.

Metal music is the genre I feel like most unfamiliar with, I know really nothing about it, but trought this challenge I'm really trying to give it a fair try, at least I'm hoping that I'm finding the the cream of the crop. I'm still not sure what I think about this though… but sure there’s more to metal than just this, I guess this one just isn't my thing.

I know Prefab Sprout from their 2003 album "I trawl the megahertz" which is one of my favorite albums of all time. I just didn't look into more of their discography because I wasn't expecting anything similar. So now finally got a chance to listen to this, I do think they have unique sound, eventhough this wasn't my favorite, still quite enjoyable
