Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Jan 10 2025

Very well recorded. Awesome bass lines and the drums pop off on several tracks. I love the drums on "what makes you think you're the one". The early synths and guitar pedal effects were awesome. I like the experimental Insturmentals but the vocals and song structures were very simple, although very good. Some songs are very traditional almost folk like style, while others are very experimental. Most of the songs are very well made, just not quite the style I like to listen to regularly.

Gorillaz by Gorillaz
Jan 13 2025

Clint Eastwood was good. Everything else was incredibly mid.

The Genius Of Ray Charles by Ray Charles
Jan 14 2025

Awesome big band blues sound. Ray Charles has an incredible voice. Some of the most powerful love songs I've heard. I ended up adding 3 songs from this album to my main playlist.

Play by Moby
Jan 16 2025

Just a bunch of samples repeated over and over for 3-5 minutes per song. Not interesting at all.

Mermaid Avenue by Billy Bragg
Jan 17 2025

Standout tracks: "Way Over Yonder in the Minor Key" "She Came Along to Me" "At My Window Sad and Lonely" "Hesitating Beauty" Worst tracks: "Hoodoo Voodoo" "Ingrid Bergman" "Christ for President"

Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane
Jan 20 2025

The drummer is really good. Standout Tracks: "Somebody to Love" "3/5 of a Mile in 10 Seconds" "White Rabbit" Worst song: "Today"

Synchronicity by The Police
Jan 21 2025

This album is a vibe. Best songs: Synchronicity I Every Breath You Take Murder By Numbers Wost song: Mother

Jan 23 2025

The singer cannot sing. The drummer is really good but it's still unlistenable.

Ten by Pearl Jam

🔥🔥🔥🔥

Don't Stand Me Down by Dexys Midnight Runners
Jan 29 2025

Music was okay, but the singer is so annoying and I couldn't manage to finish the album.

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Jan 30 2025

Very well made. The people involved are very talented. David Bowie can SING! But ultimately, just not really my style, I wasn't really able to get into many of the songs. My favorite song was "Changes"

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel

If the Beatles I fired george and used acoustic guitar

Survivor by Destiny's Child
Feb 05 2025

All the songs sound the same. The girls are talented singers. The songs kinda suck tho.

Shaka Zulu by Ladysmith Black Mambazo
Feb 06 2025

It's cool

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Feb 07 2025

Several classics, beats are good, but the songs that use a bunch of samples are kinda weak.

Total bop

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Feb 19 2025

Better than the other stones album we've listened to, but still mediocre

Heartbreaker by Ryan Adams
Feb 21 2025

It's good for what it is, I'm just not a huge fan of country. Another instant where the artist is very talented but I just don't love the music.

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones

Urban Hymns by The Verve
Feb 26 2025

Could they be any more generic?

Hypnotised by The Undertones
Feb 28 2025

Underwhelming apolitical punk rock. If the same music was put to actually decent lyrics and interesting vocals, it would be a 4.

"The real slim shady" and "stan" are incredible tracks that earn the album an extra star. Unfortunately that start gets taken away due to the blatant homophobia and 14 year old level angst. He was 28 years old when he made this album, grow up. I love eminem but you can tell he was going through some shit because this album just feels like a pretentious therapy session.

Aqualung by Jethro Tull
May 13 2025

This guy somehow made playing the flute cool.

Pearl by Janis Joplin
May 15 2025

She needs to calm down

Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman
May 28 2025

Apparently all you have to do to write folk music is tell some bland story, mumble some surface-level thought about social justice, and optionally make the lyrics rhyme. "Why?" Was by far the worst song.

Scott 2 by Scott Walker
