Belle & SebastianThis grew on me on second listen. The back half of the album was more engaging to me than the first with the stand out being We Rule The School

A great album I’m familiar with. The piano work on this album is excellent.

This album grew on me on second listen Gimme Shelter, Let It Bleed, and Midnight Rambler are the standouts. I realize I like The Rolling Stones more than I thought.
Classic sound with the blues organ that is very pleasant to listen to. Found these songs getting stuck in my head.
Honestly pretty juvenile. I feel like the lyrics are super woe is me and Billy corrigan’s voice annoys me. Not a fan and I don’t really get the hype. Not unlistenable, just not good.
Enjoyable album with soul covers of some good songs
Interesting band. Very short catchy songs. Kind of like an indie mix of neutral milk hotel with a bit more psychedelic. Not bad, but not super memorable.
Nice album that was a pleasant listen. No standouts or anything especially memorable but I like it.
Great Beach Boys album. Very pleasant and accessible. The song about student protests in LA was super prescient…
This wasn’t bad. I like talking heads generally but there weren’t any standouts on this album. I could see how this album and their early sound generally was very influential.
Decent album! Suprised I’ve never heard this band. A very eclectic album with lots of styles. Good background music.
Take me to the River is definitely the standout here. Talking heads albums just get repetitive after awhile.
I feel like there were ups and downs with this album. Some good songs, some okay. Middle of the road as far as a Dylan album goes for me.
Classic album. I didn’t finish this but enjoyed it. Need to give it another listen probably.
I do love the Doors and this album specifically. Not a five star but close. Peace frog is one of my favorites.
An iconic album that is a pleasant listen start to finish.
Great album. Little Wing is my favorite song.
Caleb asked if this was Louis Armstrong which is fitting. Okay album!
Great 70s folk rock album. Tim Buckley vibes with a female singer. Percy’s Song was a standout.
I feel like this is the spiritual precursor to Morning Phase which is a beautiful album. I liked Sea Change but not as much.
This was a super enjoyable album that I can’t believe I’ve never listened to in its entirety. Perfect day and wild side are the standouts. Definitely Leonard cohen vibes.
An iconic Dylan album with some really famous songs. Not a ton of variety here but still a good listen
This was a surprisingly delightful album! Oasis vibes and just a lot of energy.
Classic album. Repetitive after awhile. It’s good to listen to individual songs but not all together.
Another classic I really love. Thunder Road is probably my favorite.
A good live album with some fun blues!
Good easy listening r&b
Incarcerated Scarfaces is a standout. I didn’t like this as much as a lot of rap from this era.
I always want to like this album but find it a bit overrated. I think the second half of this album is much stronger than the first half. Imagine is basically a cliche at this point which hurts it I think. Standouts include: Oh My Love and How Do You Sleep?
I actually liked this one more than I thought!
