One of those albums filled with songs that I have heard before but never knew the names of the artist of the songs.
This may be "one of the first statements in punk", and as such, a very influential album, but it's not my kind of music. I guess that's how I feel with punk in general...
Very typical mix of the period - drums to the left speaker, piano in the right. In general, this album doesn't do much for me, except perhaps for The Girl from Ipanema. It's perfectly pleasant to listen to, and the players are clearly skilled.
Not a fan of U2…
Doesn't get much better than this. Doesn't make it worse that it contains Take Five which I tend to listen to on repeat...
