Opus Dei
LaibachIt’s an acquired taste of genre Opus Dei the title song was the best on the album probably won’t listen again

Enjoyed more than I thought I would liked the narration at beginning middle and end favourite track Killboy Powerhead. Maybe with a second listen will grow on me.
If you can get past the swearing, gun violence, misogyny, sexual references then you might enjoy the raps and beats of this album. Just a bit too much with the sexual references for my taste some of which were a bit gross. I don’t want to listen to that whilst eating my croissant. Best song Juicy.
Best track was the opening 1.07 min intro. Jump has been overplayed for the last 40 years. Didn’t like them in the 80’s and nothing has changed since. Luckily it was only 33 minutes long. Wont be listening to this again.
It’s an ok album enjoyed more than I thought Last song is boring Best song everybody wants to rule the world
The classics on this album have bumped my score up to a 4. Best song Big sky.
Best song that’ll be the day. The Crickets sounded like laurel and hardy with stan laurel singing lonesome pine.
This album is suitable for playing to your rabbits in their hutches to calm them down. I can’t think of any more suitable times when you might want to put the 35 mins into listening. There is no best track as it all sounded like one long song which lasted 35 mins Sorry Cocteau twins it’s not for me I enjoyed Leibach’s album Opus Dei more than this and that’s saying something.
80’s pop rubbish Not for me
Not for me thought it was a poor man’s Pink Floyd
I was going to give this a second listen but then couldn’t be bothered after the second track. Best song “without you” So giving it a 3 for that reason.
I thought I might give these a 4 after the first 5 tracks but then it went downhill so it is a 3 they were ok might listen again see if I like them any better.
Not my cup of tea
I didn’t listen to the deluxe album just the 40 mins version. I don’t think I liked it but did quite like it. The tracks were so repetitive and I wanted them to hurry up and finish but quite liked them. It’s too confusing I didn’t hate it but also didn’t love it. Won’t be listening to 2 hours of the deluxe album that I am sure of.
Enjoyed listening more than I thought nice mix of rave tracks and chill out songs.
What’s not to love
Starman and suffragette city bumps this to a 4. Will listen again as I don’t get the love for it.
Listened to the whole album and I still don’t get jazz music. One track reminded me of pink panther films and one made me feel I was in a cocktail bar on a beach somewhere so I’ll give it a 3
I really wanted to like this album but I didn’t. Two tracks karma police and no surprises were good so I’ll give it a 2
Enjoyed listening might listen again see if I like it any better
