Etherial, floating, early chill but with more lyrics. I liked it, don’t know if I would aggressively seek it out as something to listen to. Title track was kinda meh. Maybe a touch too weird but it’s supposed to be that way.
Country fried Zeppelin. Bouncy. Lighter. Since I’ve been living you swings bluesy and then goes different. Tangerine good.
Supercut and Green Light do a lot of the work here. Seems like if this album hits you when you need it, it’d be amazing.
Some guy and a guitar who did pretty well. Strongest first song ever? It's gotta be up there. The rest is solid and polite. How Do You Sleep was great for something I hadn't heard before.
Stripped down guitar and a drum, The Passenger is amazing how it pulls you along. Instant Iggy.

The Sweet Jane cover and some other nice covers and Blue Moon was a treat and it definitely has a vibe but not what I was expecting. Good background music? Said they made it in response to midi and drum machines and it's definitely steps above that.

Smooth soul with a voice. But yet it’s not. This feels years beyond 2012, it’s amazing this album is old already.
First song is one of those I've heard before slapped on a hits of the 70s and then immediately forgotten about. Maybe this is a bigger deal somehow but doesn't seem to be any different than the midfield.

A bit all over but solid Stevie. Just pleasant to listen to.
Plunky. The weird bass solo mix kills it for me. And it’s on everything.
Once this gets going it has a lot. Actual lyrics. Dancing piano. There’s an attitude in all this which shoots straight at you. I can’t say I love it but I’m afraid of it, and if you need an anthem then Amos has one for you.
It’s perfect? Darlene Love and the Ravonettes bot doing the songs that are the original versions of the songs you know.
Opener and closer are all time greats. She’s a crooner for the ages.

Musical word salad but I need to do a deeper dive into the lyrics to really get it.
A few amazing songs and the rest has Byrne sounding identical to the next. It’s all his vibe just waiting to see what hooks. But when it does, they’re immediately classic.
Banging. Great voice, classic band, the off songs don’t pull everything down too much and you already know why the classics have survived for 50 years.
Freebird does not an album make, but this is one where I’ll remember the guitars more than the voices of the lyrics. Tuesday’s Gone was a nice treat, never got Three Steps but maybe it fits their audience more.
Rose for Emily and This Will Be Our Year stick out because they’re so much more interesting than most of the other tracks on this album. Makes it classic but crazy how different they are and the rest seems like filler.
Time of the Season somehow became the song of an era. Or at least of the era as presented in movies. How is this the last track?

If you could cram a sock hop into one record… every song is basically the same and somehow it works. Pretty much. It ages like it belongs in a museum.
I really like this one, Chvrches was a fresh punch of pop leaning in on synth and electronic sounds but with vocals that pull it higher.
