1001 Albums Summary

Sound and vision is my fav David Bowie song so I’m a little biased off the bat. Never heard “Always Crashing in the Same Car” and loved that one. The end of the album got a little too extraterrestrial and lost me a little. Really good, not my favorite of his overall.

Okay kind of unenjoyable to listen to with earbuds on but if I was in some stinky dive bar and this band was playing I would definitely be into it so I have to consider that in my rating

secret life of arabia was new to me and super awesome

these are all generally good songs and i love folk but got boring after awhile

this reminds me so much of the Madagascar movie ( Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted ) and all I was thinking about was the evil woman from that movie and picturing her singing

I was feeling indifferent about both Bob Marley albums before I played them and was SO into both of them. This guy rocks big time.

Only ever listened to This Is Happening in full and that one’s great. I was surprised by how skippable a lot of this album was :/-

This is cheesy songwriting to me but Green Light in ‘New Girl’ and Supercut in ‘Someone Great’ was really pivotal in my development so extra points

I squealed when I saw this was todays album

Fun but I cannot digest 12 minute songs

Fiona Apple sometimes falls in the same category as like Bjork and Joni Mitchell, which is woman I want to love so much and I think are so badass and cool… but something with their music doesn’t click for me. With that being said, this album surprisingly hit really really good today so I think I’m evolving.

This came out two days before his death so that’s iconic but also not very good… feeing torn. Also the album cover made me really excited for when they give us Big Star (pleasseeeee)
