Really poor album. I love punk rock but they ain't it

I do like this.

The best album of all time.

Indian Sunset is gruesome and cringe worthy, even for the 70's. Holiday Inn was ok actually. I do like Homie Clothes So Tiny Damn, Son. All the songs are too fussy and some of the strings are oppressive. What is the deal with that chorus on Nasties? I didn't care for his piano playing. It sounds the same on every song.

Very interesting. I liked hearing the original source of samples for some hip-hop classics, but this is not something I would listen to again.

I'm surprised that I haven't listened to this before. It's a good album. I liked the Resurrection and Waterfall songs. I will listen again, but solid album at one go.

Nothing really stood out. The songs with the male singer are a drag. The woman singer sounds much better. I feel like this would be better without vocals as background music for a BBC period piece.

Glad I heard this. Reminds me of City of Good soundtrack (I'm well aware that it predated that movie, but it's what I, a white boy from the USA heard). I loved it

Weather to Fly is that straight-up Beatles descending chromatic but it works well. Overall group reminds me of British Sea Power and a little of early Coldplay. Not bad. Oof the Fix is in song is terrible

Stunning album. I'm partial to the US pressing which came out with Complete Control added because that's the one I grew up with. The UK version is flawless.

I liked the first track. Then it seemed like every other track was a slip. I made it few several though and it was better than I remembered but Dear God is one of the worst songs ever recorded.

The hits really are the ones that stand out. A whole lot of sax on the album tracks. Head Over Heels is a terrific song that I kind of forget exists.

Good beats but never a fan of B Real's flow

Title track is a wonder. Love TVC15. Word on a Wing and Wild is the Wind are two of Bowie's best vocals. This is one of his best works

They're a good band. There's a few songs here that are a little too English music hall sounds that are pretty annoying. I didn't care for the narration. It was too precious and detracted from good songs like Son of a Baker

There are several good songs and some clunkers. Love's more of a presence than a singer, but the overall sound is good. Miss World was a hit but I do not care for it. Violet, Jennifer's Body and Doll Parts are good.

It's a pretty good album

I think it's time for people to recognize what I've known for a long time. The Flaming Lips are not a special band. This album is better than the rest of their oeuvre but I will not ever seek this out again.

Blister in the Sun is not great. There are some decent tracks here besides that

Not for me.

In my youth I dismissed this band as another Lou Reed/Television wannabe. In my old age I welcome them as Lou Reed /Television wannabes.

Listening to this album I feel like they heard Humble Pie and decided to copy them without any of the personality or charisma. This is background music on a classic rock station. You won't change the channel but you're glad when the next song comes up.

The best album of 1968, bar none.

Walk on Gilded Splinters is a haunting masterpiece.

I really don't care for this style of music. I tried to listen to this album but I kept fast-forwarding tracks after I couldn't take anymore.

There's the his and then there's a lot of biting tracks. Some instrumentals and hardcore tracks. My problem with the Beasties has always been that they are not good rappers. They are cool, but this album ain't it.

Some good songs but not my thing

I really loved the Beatles. They were 13-year old me's favorite group. So why do I dislike their solo work, Plastic Ono excepted? There's one good song on this album, and it's his best post-Bestles, so it's not a 1-star review.

None of the songs were bad but none made much of an impression. I do not like the vocalist much. An Ocean Between the Waves is a good song. I get a but if a Spaceman 3 meets MMJ vibe from them without being as good as either of those bands I mentioned.

I remember getting this album in 2001 or so and thinking Radiohead were over. Such a comedown after the run from Bends to Kid A. They rebounded with In Rainbows but they have not been at the same level as they were for their golden run. Happily this is better than I remembered it. I might have listened twice back in the day, but I enjoyed this overall

The tracks are good but I just didn't like the vocals at all. They're still and the lyrics are submediocre

Great debut album. Some all time classics and some trifles. One of my favorite artists, taken to soon by COVID.

I love some of Eno's stuff, but this came off as sounding too adult....in the late 70's. I did not find any settings to be truly memorable. That said it's pretty good

This album had been with me for the last majority of my life. I listened to it again. Still great. 1983 A Merman I Should Turn to Be is an all time classic, to say nothing of Voodoo Chile, Have You Ever Been, Watchtower etc

I remember this album coming out and I didn't have any interest in it. I'm a huge Bowie fan. I liked the Tin Machine albums for Chrissakes. But I checked out after Earthling. It seemed like he started going backwards after the failure of that project. I love Classic Bowie. But his deal was always to go forward, even if his older fans just wanted to get Jean Genie for the thousandth time. This album feels like Bowie channeling his younger self. And it's overall a very mixed bag. I'd Rather Be High is a good track though. There are some others that don't feel like nostalgia farming. Where are we now and Valentine's Day were skips for me.

I thought this was my favorite LZ album. I listened to it all the way through for the first time in decades and it's not as good as I remember. Still better than IV, but but as good as Physical Graffiti. Ramble On and Whole Lotta Love are still certified bangers. Moby Dick is tedious. Lemon Song and Heartbreaker are the works of callow youth. Thank You is underrated.

Much better than I thought it would be. I'd heard back in the same and last child but there were a few good numbers and a few clinkers.

There are a lot of bangers. She has a great voice. There's a mix of throwback soul and modern RnB with some indie rock sounds. A terrific album
