The White Album by Beatles
Feb 11 2026

It’s a classic. Diverse song composition, some weirdness thrown in, and fun to listen to. Not my fave Beatles album, but it’s always a good time

Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones
Feb 12 2026

Always a banger. One of the best Stones albums

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Feb 13 2026

A few bangers, some repetitive vibes but overall I’m a fan.

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
Feb 16 2026

More experimental, less rock than other stones albums. Enjoyed it, less hits than others. 3.5

Red Headed Stranger by Willie Nelson
Feb 17 2026

OG Willie, not the rebel cowboy, but the gospel one. Love the callbacks to the time of the preacher theme throughout 4

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Feb 18 2026

First time listening, so good. Weaves so many different genres of music together as only Bowie does. Weird rock, sometimes jazz, that somehow still hits Fave track: Lady Grinning soul

Damaged by Black Flag
Feb 19 2026

Angsty garage punk that sounds like the precursor to Nirvana. Not exactly my cup of tea but the lyrics keep it pretty entertaining. Reminds me of Tony Hawk skater games. Fave song - TV Party 2.5

From Elvis In Memphis by Elvis Presley
Feb 20 2026

First non “hits” Elvis album I’ve listened too. Couple absolute classics on here like Suspicious Minds and Ghetto. Enjoyable but not a full standout in my mind 3/5 Fave song: Suspicious Minds (yeah I’m basic) also liked Any Day Now and Only the Strong Survive

2112 by Rush
Feb 23 2026

Felt like a late 80’s version of Pink Floyd. Very experimental

Are You Experienced by Jimi Hendrix
Feb 24 2026

Vintage Hendrix. Super bluesy and groovy. Fave song: Hey Joe

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Feb 25 2026

Very 90’s vibe, some Cure style with female singers. Couldn’t understand the lyrics but the music was enjoyable. Dreamy, “floaty” synths that seems similar to Kate Bush Fave song: “Cherry-coloured Funk” or “Heaven or Las Vegas”

Buffalo Springfield Again by Buffalo Springfield
Feb 26 2026

Bunch of different feels here, really enjoyed it. Not really an outstanding single but the album works as a whole very well. Some Beatles, Neil Young, and others vibes Fave song: Rock and Roll Woman and Hung Upside Down

Eh, some interesting songs here but not my cup of tea. A little bit of Radiohead especially when they invited Thom Yorke on “this mess we’re in” Fave songs: this mess we’re in and Kamikaze

At Newport 1960 by Muddy Waters
Mar 03 2026

Some classic enjoyable blues, fun to hear the live versions from 1960. 3/5 Fave song: I’ve got my Mojo working

Halcyon Digest by Deerhunter
Mar 04 2026

Trying to be a little too weird I feel, but definitely some cool sounds. Grew on me as the album went on, I like the whimsical pop vibe it has. Fave song: Desire Lines and Helicopter

Mama's Gun by Erykah Badu
Mar 05 2026

Funky and groovy. Her voice wasn’t my favorite (a little nasally) but overall a fun listen. Fave song: Bag Lady 3.5/5

Henry's Dream by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Mar 06 2026

Interesting but I personally hated it. Country mixed with sailor ballad story telling. It seemed like a bad musical. 1/5 Fave song: Loom of the Land

Mar 09 2026

I liked this album even though the talking heads are weird as fuck. A couple annoying songs but others were enjoyable. Fave songs: “Found a job” and “Thank you for sending me an angel” 3/5

Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan
Mar 10 2026

I’ve listened to this album plenty before and it’s one of my all time faves. Not a single skip on the record. I haven’t made it though all of Steely Dan’s discography but of what I’ve hear so far, this is the top. Fave songs: Do it Again, Dirty Work, and Midnight Cruiser 5/5

Mar 11 2026

I feel like a basic bitch but I relatively enjoyed this album. I don’t know why he just randomly cut to Amazing grace at the end of one of his songs, seemed like he was trying to hard to incorporate country into his songs that makes it feel a little forced. Lyrics were also pretty meh in some songs (looking at That’s All Right) Overall an enjoyable listen though. Fave songs: Maggie Mae and (find a) reason to believe 3/5

Diamond Life by Sade
Mar 12 2026

Couple bangers in here. Felt a little like a female version of George Michael’s. Really liked the groove a couple of the songs got into Fave songs: Smooth Operator and Hang on To Your Love Rating 3.5/5

BEYONCÉ by Beyoncé
Mar 13 2026

Definitely Beyoncé’s horniest album with blow & partition but damn it’s full of bangers. Couple misses (mainly No Angel) is keeping this out of a 5 for me. Fave songs: Drunk in Love, Blow 4/5

Dummy by Portishead
Mar 16 2026

Not my fave, especially during a workout. 90’s grunge pop, soft rock. I can see how people would be into this tho.

Mar 17 2026

I felt it and was not fighting it on this one. Almost felt sped up but was great energy throughout. Sam’s voice is crazy Fave song: Bring it Home to Me & Nothing can Change This Love 3/5

New Boots And Panties by Ian Dury
Mar 18 2026

NGL I thought some of this slapped. His voice is definitely an acquired taste and the lyrics can be ridiculous but they grab you. Some song were absolute ass though and were very childish. Fave song: Plaistow Patricia, Wake Up And Make Love To Me 2/5

Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins
Mar 20 2026

Not my go to genre, but this slapped. Very dynamic across the album, his voice is super distinct, reminds me a little of Supertramp. Every song feels like it’s the end of the album with a huge build haha Fave songs: Cherub Rock, Hummer 4/5

Is This It by The Strokes
Mar 23 2026

Full of bangers. Couple skips keeps this from being a 5. Vintage strokes

Mar 24 2026

One of my favorite Beatles albums but not quite a 5 for me. Couple songs get a little too weird and are misses. Fave songs: LSD, she’s leaving home, a day in the life

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Mar 25 2026

Pretty solid, enjoyed listening to this album. Bunch of different styles all merged into one, with a dark r&b motif throughout. Fave songs: Blue Lines, Unfinished Symphony

The Infotainment Scan by The Fall
Mar 26 2026

Really fucking weird, I liked the music but the singer’s voice was so annoying. A lot of cool innovative sounds but damn sometimes it was really annoying. Fave song: Past gone mad, Lost in Music, Why are People Grungeful 2.5/5

Mar 27 2026

Wasn’t all that impressed with this album. It starts out interesting and you think it’s going to be an experimental rap album but the first song is so poorly written it just takes it all away. There’s some redemption but this one wasn’t for me.

Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division
Mar 30 2026

Very interesting. “Post” punk, gave early Radiohead and even some grunge vibes. Definitely seemed ahead of their time. Overall the album was decent but didn’t blow me away Fave song: Disorder

Amnesiac by Radiohead
Apr 06 2026

Not my favorite Radiohead album but still enjoyable. I think I’d rank it a 4/10 but going with a 3. Felt like they’re getting just too weird here for me to really like it. Some crazy jazz feels on life is a glasshouse, such a different vibe for them and heavy electric vibes throughout. Fave songs: knives out, Life in a glass house

Aja by Steely Dan
Apr 07 2026

Really enjoy this album, lots of jazz fusion and some absolute bangers interspersed in. Not quite the equal of Can’t Buy a Thrill but still great. Fave songs: Black Cow, Peg 4/5

Phaedra by Tangerine Dream
Apr 08 2026

While impressive that all of this was analog in the 1970’s, I feel like this should’ve stayed in the hotbox studio where it was created. Fave song: none 1/5

Duck Stab/Buster & Glen by The Residents
Apr 09 2026

This is the first album I had to skip through. Wtf is this shit. I’m convinced this was added to rage bait people, and it worked Fave song: nothing, I will not listen to anything by them 0/5

Hypnotised by The Undertones
Apr 10 2026

Enjoyed the album, seemed like a precursor to 90’s British punk before it took off. Fave song: Under the boardwalk, Wednesday Week

Rock 'N Soul by Solomon Burke
Apr 13 2026

Haven’t ever listened to Solomon Burke but I really liked it. Very similar to Sam Cook in my mind. No big standouts but enjoyable

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Apr 15 2026

Pretty fucking weird but it also slapped on a few songs. Guy got really happy on one specific fart sounding synth that was fun. Altogether a fun album to listen to Fave songs: Yoshimi battles pt 1, In the Morning of the Magicians, Do You Realize

Kala by M.I.A.
Apr 17 2026

I wanted to like this album but it was too annoying to me. Could be bc I was pissed off at work but the experimental stuff just sounded bad. I did enjoy some of the more natural percussion and drums throughout. Fave songs: Paper Planes, Come Around

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Apr 20 2026

Really good Stevie that had a blend of styles. Fave songs: Superstition, You and I, end of I Believe

Apr 21 2026

Interesting Irish music, wasn’t my fave but I could get behind some of the songs. Love how they mixed up the genres on nearly every song Fave song: Fiesta

Searching For The Young Soul Rebels by Dexys Midnight Runners
Apr 22 2026

Enjoyed this one. Vocals were interesting, good use of different feels, and groovy music. Fave song: Seven days Too Long

Apr 23 2026

Decent old school 90's rap, enjoyable but not a standout in my mind (comparing to illmatic, or other great albums). Some intense cut scenes of someone getting shot was interesting. Fave song: Can it be all so simple, Ice Cream

Apr 24 2026

Started ok, but feels like a less polished, more garagy Weezer or Velvet Underground that isn’t quite as good. Final song of the album turned me off with the off tune solo. Fave songs: Range Life

Wild Is The Wind by Nina Simone
Apr 27 2026

Damn some of these songs were powerful. Really enjoyed this album and her voice Fave songs: Four Women, If I Should Lose you 4/5

Back To Black by Amy Winehouse
Apr 28 2026

Damn what a good album. I’m torn between the 4 and 5 here. Love the couple of songs that sample older R&B grooves. And the sax on “you know that I’m no good” is such a classic. Think I’m gonna settle for a 4 but is really a 4.5. Second half of the album just doesn’t compare with the first. Fave songs: you know I’m no good, Tears Dry on Their Own

Green Onions by Booker T. & The MG's
Apr 29 2026

SANDLOT!!! Immediate hit of nostalgia on the opening song of this album. Wish there were more originals here (unless they played the backing parts of all these tracks). Altogether I vibed out here. Fave Song: Green Onions obviously 3/5

Remedy by Basement Jaxx
Apr 30 2026

A few jams, and seemed pretty far ahead of its time in 1999. Sometimes it did seem like they just had a tapdancer on a midipad. Fave song: Red Alert, Being With U

Manassas by Stephen Stills
May 01 2026

Bangers but I'm a sucker for soft 1970's rock. Gives Eagles but more folksy. I'm a sucker for this type of music 4/5. Fave songs: So Begins the Task, Johnny's garden

Blackstar by David Bowie
May 04 2026

Pretty dissonant, especially 'Tis A Pity She Was a Whore. More avant-garde and moody than his older albums but maybe I'm just a normie. He really likes the sax on this album. Fave Song: I can't give everything away 3/5

Blunderbuss by Jack White
May 05 2026

Thoroughly enjoyed this album. He brings a bunch of different styles together and his voice is somehow on key and nice while also being super unique. I need to listen to more Jack White. Fave songs: Missing Pieces, Love Interruption

The Sounds Of India by Ravi Shankar
May 06 2026

Enjoyed the intros to each style as it was played. Overall not my go to genre but very beautiful and enjoyable

May 07 2026

Kanye’s masterpiece. It’s a shame that listening still supports the asshole though. Man was a genius to start out his career. Banger after banger with no skips Fave songs: Devil in a new Dress, Runaway

May 08 2026

50 cent isn't my favorite rapper but this album was fun to listen to. Good beats for the most part, good themes woven throughout. Fave song: P.I.M.P

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
May 11 2026

Solid Bob album, but nothing stood out to me on this one.

May 12 2026

Have this bad boi on Vinyl. Love this album. Fave songs: Blowing in the wind, Dont think twice

May 13 2026

I went back and forth on this one. Some songs were really enjoyable for the first 95% and then they would just ruin it with some weird atonal shit at the end. First half of the album was hot trash in my mind but there were some redeeming songs later on Fave songs: Jesus, Etc., Heavy Meatal Drummer

1999 by Prince
May 14 2026

Enjoyed this but the middle fell off a bit for me. Didn't realize that Prince was so horny. Fave songs: 1999, DMSR

Harvest by Neil Young
May 15 2026

Ugh this is right on the edge of a 3/4 for me. Good music, I really liked the symphonic components he added in but overall the album didn't fully wow me. I think I'm still going with a 4 Fave songs: out on the weekend, Alabama, Old Man

Juju by Siouxsie And The Banshees
May 18 2026

I enjoyed her voice (very Ann Wilson from Heart or Stevie Nicks) but every song sounded the same to me. Not my cup of tea

Endtroducing..... by DJ Shadow
May 19 2026

Why? This album just confused me on why it's a part of this list. Interesting and not un-enjoyable but no clear point to the music. Lots of cool sample, but just appear randomly in the songs. Fave Songs: What Does Your Soul Look Like, Pt 4 and Pt 1 (Pt 1 is the best song of the album by far)

Le Tigre by Le Tigre
May 20 2026

Love the classic punk vibes and the carefree nature of the lyrics/singing. Solid 3/5 album for me

May 21 2026

I just don't think I love 90's DJ'ing lol. So many random sounds thrown in, it's not super pleasing to listen to. A couple enjoyable ones but overall not my fave. I can see how others would like this album though

On The Beach by Neil Young
May 22 2026

I love a Neil Young album but not his best imo. Fave Songs: Walk On, Ambulance Blues

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
May 25 2026

Some absolute bangers in here but the second half of the album fell off for me. Had to relisten a couple times to have a good opinion here (was bouncing between 3 and 4). Dude's voice sounds like a close cousin to Bob Dylan. Love how many different feels they have in the album though from harder rock, to some country, jazz, and even some raggae. Going with a 4 but a relatively low 4 (3.7) Fave Songs: Money for Nothing (obviously), The Man's too Strong (very bob dylan-esque)

Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone
May 26 2026

Sounds like a mixture of James Brown and EWAF lol. Good funky vibes. Sex Machine was long AF and could've been shortened a little bit but otherwise a pretty solid album. Fave Songs: I want to take you higher, Everyday People 3/5 (upper end of 3)

Songs The Lord Taught Us by The Cramps
May 27 2026

I just think I'm not the biggest fan of punk but this was better in my eyes than some other punk albums that have been showing up lately. Engaging and not weird for the sake of being weird Fave Songs: I was a Teenage Werewolf

Liquid Swords by GZA
Jun 15 2026

This shit slapped, the random japanese story behind the music went so hard. This is my kind of 90's rap Fave songs: Cold World, Shadowboxin', BIBLE

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jun 16 2026

Vintage CCR, love the style, the voice, the vibe. Slightly less chopper in to 'Nam than some of their other stuff but this is one of the first albums I've listened to all the way through. In between a 3 and 4 for this one - gonna give it a 4. I really like their slower stuff more than the more up-beat songs. Fave songs: Wrote a song for everyone, Bad Moon Rising, The Night Time is the Right Time

25 by Adele
Jun 17 2026

Couple banger ballads for the lads in here. Her voice is just insane. Might be recency bias but going to give this one a 3, but it's a strong 3. Pretty simple musically, but her voice carries it. Fave Songs: When We were young, Send my Love

Phrenology by The Roots
Jun 18 2026

This shit slapped. So many different genres of music packed into 1 album and done so well. Thoroughly enjoyed. Not my all time fave (not quite a 5) but a banger nonetheless. -1 point for Water, little too much. Fave songs: Break You Off, the Seed(2.0)

Here, My Dear by Marvin Gaye
Jun 19 2026

Good but not great Gaye

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Jun 22 2026

I couldn't do it. 3 hours is just too long. Loved the beginning, probably love all the songs in this album but BRUH. Just choose your favorites.

Guero by Beck
Jun 23 2026

I liked this but wouldn't listen to it all the time. Love the different styles and the constant latin influence throughout. Fave song: E-Pro

Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Jun 24 2026

Man I just think I don't like punk. this album sorta grew on me but Where is My Mind was the only song I enjoyed. Sorry Pixies. I'm a normie bitch. Fave Song: Where is my Mind

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Jun 25 2026

Fuck I wanted this to be a 5 for me. If the album cut off the 2nd half it probably would be. So many bangers to start and it just fell flat at the end. Flea's bass is magical, the singing is so iconic and the riffs are godly. Truly a 4.5 and not a 4 for me. Fave Song: Otherside

Leftism by Leftfield
Jul 03 2026

Too fucking long. 2 HOURS?? Fave song: Song of Life

Low by David Bowie
Jul 06 2026

A few good songs but most of the album just faded into the background as weird instrumental music for me. I feel like an uncultured swine giving this a 2 but damn. Miss for me. Fave Song: Sound and Vision

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Jul 07 2026

Love this album. Need to listen to the whole set of CSN&Y albums. Gives more folksy hall and oats folk + some jazziness that is so enjoyable to listen to. Maybe not revolutionary, but an album I could listen to again and again.

Bummed by Happy Mondays
Jul 08 2026

This was fine. Gave slightly more indie Clash vibes. I don't love his voice but I liked some of the melodies and backing music. This feels much older than 2007. Solid 3 Fave song: Mad Cyril

White Ladder by David Gray
Jul 09 2026

I've been obsessed with Babylon for the past couple weeks so this was well timed. Tbh I was a bit disappointed with the rest of the album though. Sorta repetitive and not super original. Low end of the 3 range. Fave songs: Babylon, Say Hello Wave Goodbye

Elvis Presley by Elvis Presley
Jul 10 2026

Good Elvis album. Fun to hear some of his more mainstream "normal" voice in a couple of these songs like "I Love You Because", "trying to get to you" and "I'll Never Let You Go" I'm not sure I'll ever rank a single Elvis album super high since he released so many - as stand alone albums they were never perfect, but they all have a couple bangers. Fave Songs: Blue Suede Shoes, I Love You Because

She's So Unusual by Cyndi Lauper
Jul 13 2026

Banger of an album. Absolute 80's at it's core. Synth galore, happy and poppy. Enjoyed this one alot for the first listen. Fave songs: Girls just want to have fun (obviously), Money Changes Everything, When you were mine

21 by Adele
Jul 14 2026

Best of Adele in my opinion. So many bangers in this album. Still not the most inventive IMO, but really enjoyable to listen to. Fave songs: Someone like you, Set Fire to the Rain

Bad Company by Bad Company
Jul 15 2026

Hell of a debut album. Enjoyed this one. Honestly feels like a harder rock version of the Eagles Fave Songs: Dont let me down (the sax was a nice addition), Can't Get Enough

Head Hunters by Herbie Hancock
Jul 16 2026

Fuck it - this gets a 5. Jazzy funk at it's best. I had heard Watermelon before but every other song on this album slaps as well. Crazy that this was only 1973, this feels much more modern than the year suggests. Fave Songs: Chameleon, Watermelon Man

Jul 17 2026

Might be a little harsh, the other 1 star albums I have aren’t as enjoyable but damn this does not need to be 50 min. It’s so repetitive, there’s no additional elements added on. The last song is the best but still doesn’t pull it out of the 1 spot for me. Fave song: 2/2

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Jul 20 2026

Meh just not my vibe. Super broody and slightly repetitive. The mix on so many of the songs had the vocals so low. I like the cure but this one just didn’t hit for me. Fave Songs: A Forest, Seventeen Seconds

3 + 3 by The Isley Brothers
Jul 21 2026

God I'm a sucker for funk. This slapped from beginning to near the end. The covers were immaculate and the R&B/funk was crispy. Fave Songs: That Lady, Pts 1&2 (duh), What it comes down to
