The Cars by The Cars
Feb 23 2026

4/5 A great album that lead to an incredible catalog of songs in the following decade. Favorite tack: Just What I Needed

Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies
Feb 24 2026

How have I not listened to this album before now? Such a great album to listen to on a Monday morning. I first heard "This Will Be Our Year" when OK GO recorded it, and I didn't know it was a cover. Ending the album with "Time of the Season" is a great end. Listened in the original mono. I played the album 4 times in one day.

The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
Feb 25 2026

As this was released in 1989, you can see how the changing 80s sound is melding into the sounds that filled the 90s. A good album, but not high on my memorable list, after a first listen. 3/5

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Feb 26 2026

Not my bailiwick. My dad liked Deep Purple. It never did much for me. 2/5

Eliminator by ZZ Top
Feb 27 2026

Good album but overall, but just okay. 3/5

Green Onions by Booker T. & The MG's
Feb 28 2026

I had no idea this album was so good. I love the sound. 5/5

Peter Gabriel 3 by Peter Gabriel
Mar 01 2026

Peter Gabriel is a favorite for sure. 5/5

Tapestry by Carole King
Mar 02 2026

Great album to listen to on a Sunday morning.

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Mar 05 2026

If you don't like The Cure, I don't think we can be friends.

Ellington at Newport by Duke Ellington
Mar 06 2026

Great stuff, especially when played in the background while I work.

Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division
Mar 08 2026

Joy Division paved the way for many others to follow.

Back In Black by AC/DC
Mar 13 2026

Meh. Never been a fan. I appreciate what they did for the genre. There more popular songs are heard all the time, especially at sporting events and such.

Heroes by David Bowie
Mar 17 2026

This was a formative album when I was a young teen.
