Welp... It's the Eagles. The soft stuff is way too soft it's melting on the brown carpet. The timeless hits are as good as always though. No real surprises here.

The first album I couldn't finish. String arrangements were very nice. Way too much sad sad crooning though. Couldn't sit through it in traffic.

I hear ground being broken again. Ruck Rubin doing his thing and Run & DMC forging a new path for millions to follow. I think this is a really strong early rap album if even a little repetitive. Even 7.

Maiden's first album. I love it! Different than the Dickinson era but you hear the instrumentals coming along. Early ideas brewing and developing. 7/10

Awesome jazzy boppin for a lively ride to work! A little too busy and jazzy for easy listening but it's much more accessible than Kind of Blue (the only Davis album I've tried before this one) Strong 7

The most challenging listen for me so far. Cellular Song about killed me. One highlight is The Minotaur. Cool vibe, gimmick and story telling on that one alone. Gotta go with a strong 3/10...

I can hear the influence that reverberated after this release! ---but still nearly 40 year later it sounds innovative and modern (unless you already know it's from the 1980s) Light 8.

It was ok. Not really for me. Maybe listened to half of it as I really wasn't in the mood for experiments today. Maybe I can revisit one day but it's not high on the priority list for me. 5/10

Even better than I thought it would be. After years of skipping Black Hole Sun from overexposure, this is a real surprise with great depth and variety (for what it is) By the time BHS rolls around it feels like it fits right in. Although it's a little depressive the music and vocals are outstanding. 8/10

Influential. A lil too monotone on the vocals. Very consistent sound that I still thoroughly enjoyed tho. 7/10
