Fantastic album that has been in my rotation since the 90's. Very front-loaded, but still worth the full listen.
Never been a big fan of AC/DC and this album didn't change my opinion much. A lot of the same, but there are a couple of big hitters here that are fun to hear in their original context. Night Prowler really surprised me. Refreshingly different from typical AC/DC despite grim subject matter.
One of my favorite Radiohead albums. Paranoid Android, Exit Music, and Karma Police are top of my list.

You know what you're getting with Offspring after just a few minutes of listening. You will like it. Or you won't. Are they amazing? Not really. Do they provide much depth? Not here. Smash isn't my favorite of Offspring's catalog but there's enough here that I still didn't mind listening.
I don't typically listen to a lot of country, but Dolly's lyrics feel so human and relatable (not to mention delivered so sincerely!) that it's hard not to enjoy even if the genre isn't your usual fare.
Would have been great to see him continue to grow into it, but a great (only) album from Jeff Buckley. So Real, Eternal Life, Forget Her, and of course Hallelujah are particular highlights.
Absolute 5-star from beginning to end. One of my favorite Dylan albums
Um, Björk is... unique. I actually enjoy many of the songs individually, but as a continuous album listening experience it is a bit much.
Don't understand the exaggerated hate for Coldplay. Highly listenable if not necessarily what I would consider "essential"
King of Pop with one of the strongest middle-album stretches of all time.

My obvious favorite is still My Sweet Lord, but the rest is very high quality if a bit long. A lot of the sounds very much carry a "could almost be the Beatles" vibe. Enjoyed the instrumental jam tracks at the end.
I actually enjoyed discovering this one. Would probably never have come across that on my own. I did think I would have enjoyed it a lot more as pure instrumental or at least mixed with the vocals a bit less in-your-face.
Start to finish
I've never really given The Byrds a fair shake, always considering them a cheap American imitation of the Beatles. But I really enjoyed the trippy, pseudo-Beatles, California vibe of the album and will probably be looking up more in the future.
Some of it was a little generic EDM, but there are some genuinely interesting moments that would make me return and give another listen.
Obviously some of the covers come off better than others, but the ones that hit are phenomenal.
Courtney Love just ain't doing it for me. Didn't really enjoy this one, but the title track is still catchy radio fodder
I've never really given The Kinks a fair shake. I just thought of them as the lesser Beatles I guess. But this album actually gave me a much greater appreciation for what they were doing and I'm looking forward to digging into their catalog some more. Also, Shanrgi-la is amazing!
Better than some ABBA I've listened to, but all the songs start to run together, and not in the good way.
I can appreciate the part Jack and this album may have played in leading to some later music that I absolutely adore, but this one fell right about in the middle for me
