Classic. Love war pigs, iron man, and of course Paranoid, my favorite BS song

more oasis-y influence on some of the tracks than I expected (weekend wars). lots of classic songs on here. Did not expect something like the Youth on here - doesn’t sound at all like their popular songs. a little slow and boring build up. Electric feel - kinda boring, realizing the mix falls a little flat nowadays. this was mixed during the apple headphones and macbook speakers era for sure. Kids - biggest bop on the album hands down. also last song i recognize on the track list. Scary ass music video iirc. Pieces of what sounds like their attempt at the stones. not bad but not particularly good Of Moons Birds and Monsters was pretty dope. Longer track with cool production. Build up at the end like I want you shes so heavy by the beatles. Actually very very clearly influenced, doesn’t cut off suddenly though. The handshake is okay too. Way more acoustic guitar on this album than i expected. I was expecting something synth bops like the lead singles. Last song goes full Bowie. I like the baseline that kicks in at around 1:30 in. Really dig the vocal delivery on the verses here - more lowkey than the rest of the album. Pretty cool melodies on this one. Cool guitar lead that’s very classic rock kicks in at some point. This might be my third favorite song on the album. Definitely closes on a high note. Overall album was pretty OK - a lot more tame than I expected. I thought the non single songs were just gonna be more experimental versions of the synth pop that the singles are, but they are more just standard alt rock sounding songs.

Absolute classic and banger of an album. Seminal album - Biggies flow is nuts and the production is that bad ass east coast hip hop sound. Could do without the skit of him fucking someone though.

okay this is getting creepy now. I literally just added this to my apple library like… 2 minutes ago. Does this website know what i’m adding on my apps? All of the previous albums except for the mgmt one are albums i’ve listened to recently. Fun Album - love One Way or Another and Heart of Glass from before listening to the album. Really dug Pretty Baby and Sunday Girl on first listen as well. I can definitely see myself throwing this on in the background more often and it’s cool knowing they played at CBGB with the ramones and taking heads. I like the vocal range Debbie Harry has between sounding punky on one way or another and smooth on heart of glass

this is not really my vibe but the guitar tones are pretty rad. Chris Cornell’s voice is also great Black hole sun is great of course and the main song that i know by them. Won me over a bit towards the end - fav tracks: black hole sun the day i tried to live 4th of July Like Suicide

Def not my favorite pink floyd album. Some cool ideas here and there but probably won’t listen to it again.

Better than I expected! I’ve only checked out Odelay due to dust brothers production, but nigel godrich made this one sound great too. Enjoyed most songs with only one or two songs that were too lowkey and i wanted to skip

Great album with some great instrumentation. Truly reminded me of Big Thief and Adrianne Lenker - i’m sure there’s some influence there

Amazing voice and a well produced album. Not my cup of tea for repeated listens but still a good listen.

Long album - I like the instrumentation, production, and Badu’s voice, but feel like it plays it a little TOO safe at times. Some songs feel a little overly long. Will keep listening though as this feels up my alley and i’d imagine i’d like these songs more on repeat listens

actually doesn’t start bad - first two songs are good but then the 3rd and fourth song are just.. not good. the dudes delivery is also kinda whiny in a bad way. some of the scratching and sampling is just bad too with questionable sample choices. The good songs are really good like Stellar - that song is super nostalgic for me. Pardon Me too the lows are sooo damn low though

not terrible but also not very good. All sounded kinda samey, i do like the acoustic guitar tones and even the production overall, but was just bored most of the time.

fun as hell. very surprised by how much i liked this one - the two popular songs in the middle were actually my lesser favorite. starts of and ends strong. really didn’t like princess of the street and have no clue how peaches is their most popular song

first album i’ve listened to on here that i hadn’t listened to that i thought was awesome. five stars for that alone
