Loved it-early alt/punk. Weird and delicious. Starred nearly every song.
Interesting concept album. Fees evergreen style-wise; alt/classic rock feel, dark vocals. Hits hard but not too gritty.
Beautiful, interesting, vibrant. Good creative work music, can be ambient or the main event. Techno and soul influences side by side. A new favorite.
Loved it. Mysterious and slightly weird and cinematic. Takes you for a ride
Beautiful album, and I’d never heard of him before. Short, tragic life. Music that is ahead of his time. Some bossa nova influences
Disco-y! Interesting to see some early thriller influences too
A new(old?) favorite. Lots of songs I recognized but didn’t realize were from the same album. Folk-rock feel, less polished in a good way

I’d never listened to a jay-z album all the way through before. Clever and masterful lyrics. I feel like I need to know more to put it in context with the genre.
Didn’t love—I think it didn’t age well. Great voice and sweet songs, but not a huge fan of the songwriting style at places or the way the songs were put together. Mostly personal preference. It did have moments that surprised me, like “the mind of love”
Amazing energy. Can feel stage presence in recording.

It was fine, but nowhere close to my favorite. Decent background music but I probably wouldn’t choose to listen to it again.
I liked it! Didn’t make a huge impression though, but I might have been distracted
From the transition from the intro into the second song, I was hooked. Stunned that I’ve never listened to this before. Glad that I have now.
Some cheesy background vocals but overall solid and holds up v well. Lots of keepers
Tons of fun and energy. Classic glam rock sound, Irish. Amazing guitar. Surprisingly good quality for a live album.
Interesting and inventive—incorporates a lot of classical music/operatic themes throughout which was cool to hear. Storytelling songs sometimes didn’t work but some did. Especially liked the one you love and waiting for a dream
Indian and classic rock influences. Worth another listen but not life-changing for me, but maybe I was distracted while i listened
Original country. Merle haggard was kinda cute when he was young
Loved it. Mysterious and slightly weird and cinematic. Takes you for a ride
Good folk music—fiddling, acoustic guitar, EYC. Sometimes reminiscent of Irish folk music
Prof rock. Interesting and weird. Need to be in the right mood for it
Fun and wonderfully weird. Makes you want to move. Would be fun to run to.
Old, classic folk. Acoustic sound, can hear as a source of influence for later eras of the genre
Interesting and conceptual. More drug-driven and plays more with middle voice instruments
Great alternative music, creative songwriting. A groove
Blues-y guitar-driven rock, very full sound, driving
She does have an incredible voice, and I can certainly see how she influenced pop music at the time. Not really my style, though.
Interesting, often atonal prog rock (?) wavered on it a lot. Cool at times and a chaotic at others
weird and fun, would listen again but not all songs are hits for me
