Ocean Rain
Echo And The BunnymenGreat album, know every song
Great album, know every song
A few good songs, but overall a little schmaltzy for me. I'd give it a few more listens to see if it grows on me.
Just fine, not amazing.
Lots of singles, good concept album
Really good, lots of bangers. Probably on par with Houses of the Holy for me in terms of having those long tracks that you can sit with for a while
I think the songs I didn't know from this album are more interesting than the ones I did know.
Probably need more listens to it. Feels like Portishead/Goldfrapp/The Walkmen (I think? and other slow, haunting indie rock
I'm too used to American Girl being the start of an album that it feels really weird to have it be the end of the this album.
Is it an amazing album? No, but it has some good songs and actually a lot more than I would have cited from memory. Like 5 songs that I had some previous memory of, including the one from the Trainspotting soundtrack.
A few good songs, but overall a little schmaltzy for me. I'd give it a few more listens to see if it grows on me.
That song Drive was pretty good, but most of this album is awful and I will never want to listen to it again.
Not into it.
None of the singles were that good, but there were other ok songs.
Bring the Noise was actually not as engaging as I would have liked but the other tracks are really good.
Always love Sound and Vision. The other songs on the album take a little more work to get into, but I do like it. Also it's like half-instrumental.
Reading about the album helped me appreciate it more. Not sure how often I would come to it.
Really enjoyed this
Reminds me of early 2000s Moby, David Holmes, etc. Trip hop
It's good but you have to be in the mood for it.
Supposed to be one of their best albums but felt a little dated to me. Crosby's rejected "Triad" was one of the better songs, tbh
The regular hits are great, plus I really like the song Win. Apparently not a well-liked Bowie album but considered very influential.
Still very good and fun to listen to.
Fun album.
Highway Star is a GREAT song. Lots of long, metal songs.
Great album, know every song
First song and title song are great. The rest of it seems pretty similar to Yaz except not as engaging.
much better than i thought it would be. first 2 songs are great.
Great album, still remember every song
need more time with it
First few songs are really good. Devolves into noise a little by the end.
Maybe the best coldplay album i've listened to? but also not great even at that.
I did not know that Love Will Tear Us Apart was not on any of their studio albums. It's good, but a little heavy at times.
Dated melodies of Bob Dylan songs that made me appreciate the Dylan version more.
Fine, some songs were very good, but overall forgettable outside of those
Didn't find it as good as the later albums.
fun album
Need more time with it. Some of it is good, some of it a pass
Interesting but not something I'd put on all the time
Not that into the folk thing
It's fine, not my favorite concert to listen to, but I found it really funny that Sam Cooke would end every song by saying the song's name right after as a kind of inbetween songs talk
Spent a lot of time listening to this before. Very good front half, some dips in the second half.
I used to listen to this album a lot in college. I think it's a bit harder now, but I still enjoy it sometimes.
Actually really fun and catchy, even though I'm never in the mood to hear Bob Dylan
Still extremely listenable
fine, nothing special
not sure i'd ever be in the mood for it but it's ok
Need to come back to this
Liked it, not typical folk
Feels like Chemical Brothers. Not that interesting to me
Short album, would need to listen some more. Definitely felt more like a 60s album while still being Jazz
Really good album
Some of it is a little hard to listen to, but it's not bad
Still great
Not my style
Some good songs but not my style.
Lots of good songs on there
Just fine, not amazing.
Some good stuff that I hadn't heard before
Can still always listen to it, even though it's become pretty basic.
Their most commercial album, and also still inaccessible at times. Lots of feedback. Need more time with it.
meh
It's fine, nothing I'd listen to that often.
always a great album
Very middling
pretty good
Lots of singles, good concept album
Really good, like St. Vincent or Goldfrapp
The good songs are very good, but nothing I would return to that often.
Never listened to it before. It's good but very very short
Not for me!!
not that interesting
Good, some stuff I recognize, aside from the main song.
Really fun album
Some really good stuff. Need to come back to it.
Really liked this
It's fine, not necessarily an absolutely amazing album, but I could listen to it more
Really good! Sounds like early Radiohead, better Coldplay, also The Doves
Very dated, not that interesting.
Pretty good, not sure how often I'll be in the mood to listen to it.
Tons of songs I know, pretty fun
A very good live album
Some great songs I already knew.
Actually better than I thought
a little precious
Great
Really good
Fun but I wanted to have more catchy songs like Rip it Up and I Can't Help Myself
Not that interesting to me.
Fun stuff but I don't know how often I'd be in the mood for it.
Lots of good stuff, one song sampled by DangerDoom
Sounds a lot like Magnetic Fields. Pretty listenable
Not my favorite B&S but it's good.
first track has the baseline from Faith Evans' "Love Like This Before"
Always very listenable
never heard of this guy before but he basically sounds like early Dylan. Fun stuff
This album sucks
Some good stuff, not a banger start to finish.
Has some of the best Pretenders songs
some of the songs I like the best, but it's still a Rush album...
I know a lot of the songs on this.
