New York Dolls
Archetypal “band who the bands you like like” for me. Had so much fun listening to this and can see the influence it had on so many bands I’m in to. Regret not having listened to them before.

Oasis
I don’t think I’ve listened to any album more than I’ve listened to this one. (It was on my CD alarm clock almost the entirety of high school) thought I’d feel cooler on it having not listened to it in years, and having had no desire to, but I loved every minute of it and struggled not to sing along tunelessly throughout.
An absolute masterpiece that comes close to justifying the complete and utter bellendry of the Gallaghers.
I’m enough of a toss pot to honestly believe this is the second best Oasis album behind The Masterplan.

Green Day
Thought it was purile and shite when it came out and was “pleased” to be proved right. Horrendous listening experience and I curse myself for not having enough self respect to have turned it off.
