1001 Albums Summary

It was alright, not really my taste. Kinda sounds like the Beach Boys except without the cool harmonic stuff.

OK, most of the songs sounded REALLY similar.

Overall a pretty strong album. Theres a couple of standouts- Watching the detectives, mystery dance, and blame it on cain mainly Welcome to the working week is fairly catchy and straight forward, also very short Some nice guitar on Miracle Man Blame it on Cain is very catchy and has cool guitar riffs. Mystery Dance makes you wanna dance. Watching The Detectives is reminiscent of Master Blaster, cool drum beat. Thematically its also very relevant to todays climate

Cool song transitions. So incredibly loud.... really heavy too heavy

Super long. There's definitely some gems on this album, but with so many tracks it starts to sound kind of samey, and many of the non-standouts start to become boring. Another new day is rather groovy and a departure from most of the rest of the album. The instrumentals as a whole tend to be a lot different from all the other songs, and I think some of the strongest tracks on the album.

Not really my vibe" Welfare Mothers or Hey Hey. My My (into the black) are my favorites. Definitely gets more enjoyable as the album comes to a close

I LOVE the drum tone on this whole album, super tight.

2.5 Everything was just kinda alright... Better that System of a Down because I could actually finish it

Didnt like the vocals, instrumentals were alright

the ONLY reason this gets a 3 instead of a 2 is because of Its the End of the World. Otherwise, i didnt really enjoy the album a whole lot
