Heroes is awesome. Some of the instrumentals in the back are very cool (Doubt/Moss Garden). However rest is pretty forgettable.
Not really my type of music, but pretty nice album. I enjoyed it.
Really good album, Baba O'Riley and Behind Blue Eyes are amazing!
Interesting rhythms... but not really my thing.
Pretty bland and unremarkable, not necessarily bad, but in my opinion not very special.
It's ok I guess, some nice songs, but nothing really blew me away.
Some interesting sounds and instrumentation, all in all a pretty unique sound. However also not really a lot of breathtaking songs... After some checking, they have some amazing songs... just not on this album, curious that this album is on the list...
Album grew a lot on me while listening. It's pretty damn good, the French versions of the songs are better imho, pretty cool sound!
Some awesome moments, but too much horn for my taste, not really for me.
Starts pretty damn awesome, but falls off on the second half. Still pretty cool album.
Not that much to say, but I liked it.
Some strong moments, but overall not amazing.
Wow, very impressive, captivating. Better than I thought a piano concert could be!
Guitars are awesome, rest is ok, but not great.
Haven't listened to this album in forever... guess what, still awesome!
Some of the most iconic hits of their time, rest of the album is a little inconsistent but overall an amazing piece of art!
Amazing how many iconic sounds come from this album, awesome stuff!
Good record, but besides "Even Flow" nothing truly outstanding.
Awesome album, probably not their best, but Homeward Bound is amazing and there are many more strong tracks on this record.
Ok album, some cool 80s synth sounds, but overall pretty forgettable... no real bangers :(
I know it's a super highly regarded album, but unfortunately I could not get into it :(
It's ok I guess... honestly I found it pretty forgettable.
Really don't get this album... I generally quite like some of the early electronic pioneers from the UK, but this album is just miss after miss for me...
Pretty cool, but also not really something I would listen to multiple times.
Feels a bit like a mixed bag, some great songs, some weird ones. Really enjoyed "All Tomorrow's Parties".
Not much to say about this one, it's ok I guess, but also nothing really caught my ear on first listen...
Wow this really surprised me... didn't really know this group, but damn, awesome album. great stuff!
Ok album, just not really my kind of music.
It's good, especially "This is the Day" is a great song.
Honestly thought this was one of those lone guy with guitar deals... Hugely surprised by the sound of this album, very varied and at times pretty massive. Enjoyed it way more than I thought, good stuff!
Just ok I think, nothing amazing, but overall enjoyable to listen to.
Some pretty awesome songs, but also some terrible ones... inconsistent album.
I'm not the biggest jazz guy, but I liked this album, especially "Teen Town" is awesome.
Obviously Hotel California is an "all-timer" but the rest of the album doesn't quite reach the same heights.
Really liked it, maybe just in a good mood today, no one track is really that outstanding, but just a fun listen from start to finish.
Really cool album! Heart of Glass is of course an all time banger.
Not their best, still pretty darn good.
Pretty cool, I really enjoy these 80s synth pop albums. good stuff.
Awesome album, just great songs, great sounds and an alltime banger.
It's just a good album, great songs, great sound.
Great songs to start of the album, then it falls of quite a bit. Still some iconic 80s sounds, good stuff!
Surprised to see this album here. Never heard of them and even after listening I will probably never hear of them again.
It's ok music, nothing bad, but there are no stand out tracks. Really nothing standing out at all...
Really like Depeche Mode, but this is not one of my personal favorites. Still good music!
Great album, maybe a bit overplayed at release but I think with some distance it really holds up well, good stuff.
One of the greatest albums of all time... amazing start to finish!
I don't know... certainly not bad by any means, but it does not really work for me.
The Style Council... they are certainly all over the place stylistically. While there are a few ok songs on this album, I found it overall rather disappointing.
Honestly kind of nice music. I don't even know what you would really call that, I doubt I will remember even a single song, but it was also nothing that bothered me on this album. But not really what I am listening for if I want to listen to music, but this list certainly has very wide range of different styles.
There kind of all over the place... some good moments, but all in all not my thing.
Granted there is certainly a nostalgia factor here, but I listened to Manu Chao when he first released his music and honestly it is still great.
Unique and fantastic sound, I like it.
Meh, this is probably the most forgettable album on this list so far. Just boring really, not at all my thing.
It's ok, but for me there is something truly special missing from this album that would really propel it to greatness.
I enjoyed this one. It's very of it's time but I think in a good way, the late 60s was a strong time for music.
Really don't get why this album should be on this list. It's almost a parody of 80s rock without having any self awareness and it's just not very good. Aerosmith have some great stuff before and after, but this is a low point for the band and the genre in general...
Not generally my genre, but really enjoyed this album.
Great debut from a great band.
Wow, never heard of this album or the creator and it's pretty tight. Some great songs and the sound is pretty ahead of it's time for the 90s still sounds modern today.
It's ok, nothing really special imho...
Very special album, wonderful!
Great album, obviously with an amazing start, but it really amazed me towards the end. Some pretty unusual sounds, almost a "cinematic" feel. I really enjoyed it!
Bowie has some amazing stuff and is certainly an artist that deserves multiple entries on a list like this... But "Station to Station" just doesn't cut it. It's a middling, transitional album in Bowie's extensive discography... not worth to be listed among the greatest!
bland, boring... most albums on this list have had a "purpose" even if I maybe didn't like the genre or the type music. this is just devoid of anything...
Perfection. Encapsulating a time, place and style with immaculate precision. Great listening from start to finish, not a second too short, not a second too long - wonderful!
damn... while I heard "Groove is in the Heart" before the rest of the album was all new to me and it is amazing. Amazing stuff!
Just timeless. A special record that is always a pleasure to listen to.
Just good music, whenever I listen to a Steely Dan album there is just a feeling of enjoyment, at no point do I ever feel like skipping a track or doing something else.
Their debut has probably some stronger individual tracks, but Countdown to Ecstasy is a very balanced and strong album that always delivers if I am in the mood for some Steely Dan.
I guess there is some interesting innovation there, probably even more significant at the time. But listening to it today does not do much for me.
Good album, but not their best and the "concept" stuff/audio recordings and so on really falls flat for me and makes it less enjoyable to listen to imho...
It's a good album, a bit weird towards the end but overall a good listen.
No idea why this album from Lana Del Rey is on this list... probably because the typical music press hard-on for a musician "changing" away form their popular/commercial stuff.
Call me shallow but popular stuff is usually popular for a reason and in the case of Lana Del Rey I certainly like it better...
Thought I was really gonna like this album... but it leaves me rather cold. it's ok, but imho unremarkable...
Wow huge surprise, awesome sound and then ends with a mega banger. I guess the tracklist is kind of weird but honestly a great listen. cool album!
