Bowie has some amazing stuff and is certainly an artist that deserves multiple entries on a list like this... But "Station to Station" just doesn't cut it. It's a middling, transitional album in Bowie's extensive discography... not worth to be listed among the greatest!
Heroes is awesome. Some of the instrumentals in the back are very cool (Doubt/Moss Garden). However rest is pretty forgettable.

Album grew a lot on me while listening. It's pretty damn good, the French versions of the songs are better imho, pretty cool sound!

Surprised to see this album here. Never heard of them and even after listening I will probably never hear of them again. It's ok music, nothing bad, but there are no stand out tracks. Really nothing standing out at all...
Really like Depeche Mode, but this is not one of my personal favorites. Still good music!

The Style Council... they are certainly all over the place stylistically. While there are a few ok songs on this album, I found it overall rather disappointing.
Honestly kind of nice music. I don't even know what you would really call that, I doubt I will remember even a single song, but it was also nothing that bothered me on this album. But not really what I am listening for if I want to listen to music, but this list certainly has very wide range of different styles.

Really don't get why this album should be on this list. It's almost a parody of 80s rock without having any self awareness and it's just not very good. Aerosmith have some great stuff before and after, but this is a low point for the band and the genre in general...

Perfection. Encapsulating a time, place and style with immaculate precision. Great listening from start to finish, not a second too short, not a second too long - wonderful!

Just good music, whenever I listen to a Steely Dan album there is just a feeling of enjoyment, at no point do I ever feel like skipping a track or doing something else. Their debut has probably some stronger individual tracks, but Countdown to Ecstasy is a very balanced and strong album that always delivers if I am in the mood for some Steely Dan.
I guess there is some interesting innovation there, probably even more significant at the time. But listening to it today does not do much for me.

No idea why this album from Lana Del Rey is on this list... probably because the typical music press hard-on for a musician "changing" away form their popular/commercial stuff. Call me shallow but popular stuff is usually popular for a reason and in the case of Lana Del Rey I certainly like it better...
