Ahhh shit! Can't go wrong with some WU!! It might be a gza solo album but the whole crew makes appearances. When in a Wu mood Liquid Swords gets heavy play in the rotation.

I cant even think of another so Don McLean song other than American Pie. I cant even count how many times I've listened to the the title track. Yes Don, Music can save your mortal soul. Really like The Grave. I've heard Vincent a million times or at least the NOFX cover not realizing it was written by Don McLean. I'm a sucker for well executed singing in rounds so really dug Babylon.

The first track has me hooked. Hidden place has that 60 james bond vibe so good. Unison the final track is also great. The whole album in otherworldly from beginning to end.

This was my first tape cassette. My mom bought for me when I was 6 or 7. We were a MTV household, I grew up on music videos and you give love a bad name and living n a prayer were in heavy rotation. I had no understanding of what the lyrics in those songs meant but the music grabbed me. Rocking guitars and catchy chorus's. I used to jam to it on a little yellow, one speaker cassette player. Then one day my baby bro no older than 2 got a hold of the cassette and ripped the tape out and I haven't listened to the whole album since. It comes out fires blazing with 2 out of the first 3 tracks being those I already mentioned. Wanted Dead or Alive is another great track but the rest of the album falls short. It'll probably another 35 years before I listen to anything other than tracks 2,3 or 5 of this album.

Wasn't digging it after listening to it on a small but quality Bluetooth speaker. Threw on some headphones and the first track is slapping. That synth bouncing from left to right in the cans. Definitely appreciating the first 3 tracks more than I did the first time. Got the headphones and the post work vibes going for the second listen.

This will always be seen as a classic no matter how crazy Kanye becomes. Gotta give it up for a rapper that uses a Happy Gilmore joke in his raps. Never been a fan of skits just keep the jams rolling.
