I was hoping I'd like it, because I liked the simplicity of the album cover. So far, this is my favorite album that I've been recommended. Beautiful songwriting, amazing indie/alt project. Only critique is it is too long.

I've never been a big fan of heavy metal, especially some of the recommendations for it I've gotten here, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. I loved the melodies, voice inflictions, vocals, lyrics, and the sudden changes in pace of the songs. The longer songs were some of my favorites, too, which is not usually the case. Amazing album.

I've been meaning to listen to this record in full since 2019 when I discovered them, because of their feature on Charli XCX's 2019 song "Gone". I heard a few songs from the project before this full listen, so I knew I was going to like it. In full, it definitely matched my expectations. I think this is a perfect pop record.

I remember listening to this album Dec 2020. I had never heard of her before, but kept seeing the album everywhere. That first experience was unlike anything I’d ever imagined. From the lyrics, to the production, to the melodies, it made for a perfect album for me. This album is the reason I went back in her discography. Now, almost 4 years later, I’m a massive Fiona Apple fan.

I really enjoyed the first track, but began losing interest after because it didn't seem like it connected with the themes of the album. Thematically, I just don't understand what the album is supposed to be, because the first track seems like a love song, then everything following are political songs, so I was just confused.
