The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Aug 18 2023

Non riesce a conquistarmi del tutto ma vi sono alcune chicche indimenticabili

This Is Fats Domino by Fats Domino
Aug 19 2023

Nice to listen to but not I genre of music I seek out

Traffic by Traffic
Aug 20 2023

Surprisingly good. Nice psychedelic solos, all tracks are good

Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan
Aug 22 2023

Lovely Album. Not as much as Can't Buy a Thrill from the same band, so it's a 4 for me

For Your Pleasure by Roxy Music
Aug 24 2023

Loved it as much as I love to see Amanda Lear in the album cover

Aug 25 2023

Cool ideas, cool sounds, just too long for someone that isn't a fan of hip hop. In fact I like The Love Below more than Speakerboxxx

xx by The xx
Aug 26 2023

Better than I remembered! It aged well

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Aug 28 2023

Avoided for a long time 'cause it was too long, but now I keep on listening because it'as a beautiful record. Even the jams at the end. 4/5 because it's still too long to become a favorite, but great songrwiting

Abattoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Aug 29 2023

Right when I was ready to skip the whole album, Breathless captivated me. With Babe you turn me on, I was sold. Too long for me, and I like the second half more than the first. But can't deny Nick Cave talent.

Raising Hell by Run-D.M.C.
Aug 31 2023

not my genre, but still entertaining

Amnesiac by Radiohead
Sep 01 2023

I like the mix of genres. It grows on me the more I listen to it, but right now I still don't fully understanding (or maybe I'm not in the right mood). I think I like it more than Kid A. Very interesting!

Deep Purple In Rock by Deep Purple
Sep 02 2023

Probably important for the history of hard rock and metal, sadly not my cup of tea

Garbage by Garbage
Sep 16 2023

I had to wait for a bad mood day to appreciate it.

Da Capo by Love
Sep 18 2023

I like it overall but it feels disconnected and sadly I can't keep it in my head or heart

Back At The Chicken Shack by Jimmy Smith
Sep 20 2023

Cute backgrounds music when you clean the house, or if you want a vintage bar atmosphere

American Idiot by Green Day
Oct 06 2023

I know this probably comes from nostalgia, but after so many years I still find this album impeccable

Cypress Hill by Cypress Hill
Oct 08 2023

Not my thing, at all

American Gothic by David Ackles
Oct 11 2023

Sounds like a musical, it's not bad but nothing stood out to me

Oct 14 2023

Pure nostalgia rating. But nothing gives me more satisfaction than singing screaming Don't look back in anger

Behaviour by Pet Shop Boys
Oct 15 2023

I had no idea what the PSB sounded like, was expecting something completely different. This was super soft but it's not my jam

Snivilisation by Orbital
Oct 20 2023

The reason I like this project is finding things I never heard of, just like this band/album. "Crash and Carry" sold it to me, just the kind of techno I love. I didn't enjoy the album fully, but some dreamy psychedelic tracks here and there are the reason I'm giving a 4

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
Oct 21 2023

I understand the disruptive impact this had when it first came out, but sadly it doesn't work on me

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
Oct 22 2023

I may be biased by my love for Paul, but this album is a banger

Bone Machine by Tom Waits
Oct 23 2023

Not for me but I was expecting worse

Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin
Oct 24 2023

I find it difficult to relate to Led Zeppelin g and remembering their stuff. But then every time I hear In the Light, for example, I'm in awe. I don't know what keeps me from truly loving them. In this case maybe it's the album length

Sound of Silver by LCD Soundsystem
Oct 26 2023

I did know this album, but I think I wasn't completely ready for it the first time around. This time I was completely captivated

The Holy Bible by Manic Street Preachers
Nov 01 2023

This was a great surprise. Loved the sound of most of the songs, the rest is maybe too heavy, but I'll go back to this album many times

So Much For The City by The Thrills
Nov 02 2023

I would have liked this record In 2013, but it came out 10 years too early and I'm listening 10 years too late

Nov 03 2023

A classic. Lily of the Valley alone makes this album a 5

Exile In Guyville by Liz Phair
Nov 05 2023

I felt lucky to discover this album through the best 500 albums challenge and now I just love this album so much

Chirping Crickets by Buddy Holly & The Crickets
Nov 08 2023

Some great tunes but overall I liked more to listen directly to a "best of"

Tigermilk by Belle & Sebastian
Nov 09 2023

Not mind-blowing, I will listen more carefully just out of respect of B&S later works, but it still is sweet music

Life Thru A Lens by Robbie Williams
Dec 18 2023

Can't understand why this album is here beside the 2 hit songs

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Dec 19 2023

I love the title track so much but I find the other ones a little bit repetitive, and that's a pity

Atomizer by Big Black
Dec 20 2023

I don't like to be screamed at, I can't concentrate on the actual music

Clube Da Esquina by Milton Nascimento
Dec 22 2023

Love the vibes, a subtle touch of psychedelia in a mellow soft Brazilian sound. Too long for a 5 tho

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Jan 12 2024

Masterpiece, love it from head to toe

Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies
Jan 13 2024

35 Minutes of perfect tunes, can't believe this album wasn't successful at the time

Different Class by Pulp
Jan 14 2024

Some songs are true gems, but it doesn't convince me all the way through

Fuzzy by Grant Lee Buffalo
Jan 15 2024

I don't know why it's here, I never heard of it and is nothing revolutionary, but I can picture myself listening to this album while drinking a beer in the porch I don't have at the end of summer

Blur by Blur
Jan 16 2024

Interesting, not fully convincing. I like some of the songs very much tho

Sea Change by Beck
Jan 17 2024

Good on a very slow and sad day

Ingenue by k.d. lang
Mar 05 2024

Comforting voice, good company for a lonely night

Ten by Pearl Jam
Mar 06 2024

I didn't love it at first but I must admit that this list gave me the opportunity to reevaluate it

The Visitors by ABBA
Mar 07 2024

This was an amazing discovery!

Dust by Screaming Trees
Mar 08 2024

I don't understand the bad reviews. Had very low expectations but I'm captivated and listened to this album multiple times. "Look at you" is a very good song

Mama's Gun by Erykah Badu
Mar 10 2024

I'm tempted to skip every song. I think I would need weed and a very comfortable sofa to really enjoy this music, maybe some other stoner company. I don't have any of these things, I'm just bored

Aja by Steely Dan
Mar 12 2024

At first I thought this album was too jazzy for me (in an annoying satinated way) but I think I'm starting to get it (still, not even close to my love for Can't Buy a Thrill)

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Mar 14 2024

It's not something that I would personally decide to listen to if I had to choose, but can this be anything else than a 5?

Gasoline Alley by Rod Stewart
Mar 15 2024

I don't know, it's not bad at all, but also I won't listen to it ever again probably. 3.5 stars if I could

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Mar 16 2024

3-4 very good songs but overall not a favorite

White Ladder by David Gray
Mar 17 2024

It's not bad at all but feels a little generic. I think nostalgia is a big factor for people who rated it higher, but I've never heard of it before and I'd rather listen to Damien Rice

Mar 19 2024

I really like this record but for some reason I never listen to it, I don't feel the need to.

Heaux Tales by Jazmine Sullivan
Mar 20 2024

A couple of great tunes, not revolutionary as it would like to be

Soul Mining by The The
May 07 2024

Listened to it multiple times and yet nothing stayed, but it doesn't sound bad. Just completely forgettable for my brain

Deserter's Songs by Mercury Rev
May 09 2024

This is like a wizardy soundtrack. Somehow I both cannot remember any song and keep listening. I get swept away in another dimension at every listen

21 by Adele
May 11 2024

At the time Somebody like you sounded like the best song ever. Today this album feels boring, sorry Adele

Power In Numbers by Jurassic 5
May 17 2024

One of the rare times I listenend happily to a hip hop album, multiple times. Last few tracks didn't impress me but overall is a very good listen

Medúlla by Björk
May 19 2024

I had to wait to be in the right specific mood for this album, but then I listened twice in a row. Hunting and mesmerizing

Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins
May 20 2024

I do like it a lot, but it's one of those albums that I can't seem to fall in love completely with

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
May 21 2024

Nowhere Fast is enough to make this album for me (not my favourite from The Smiths) but here and there the guitar is really mesmerizing

Oct 20 2024

It took me a while to decide how many stars, but at the end of the day this allowed me to discover TNT, Djed is a great track, Tortoise are my new favorite band and I think all of this deserves a 5

Oct 21 2024

4 stars just because a couple of tracks still hit close to my heart and are undoubtly very good songs. But maybe this album belongs too much to the years it came out

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Oct 22 2024

It does sound slightly outdated and frozen in a specific moment in time maybe, but I can't deny that some of these songs still touch something inside me. Hand in my pocket will never fail to move me

Oct 23 2024

It was enjoyable but it's something I don't feel I want to go back to (and it's my second time listening)

Winter In America by Gil Scott-Heron
Oct 25 2024

Very enjoyable, lyrics scarily still relevant. Song for Bobby Smith has something special to it, is like an ear orgasm

Zombie by Fela Kuti
Dec 03 2024

I like that the challenge suggested this and Machito one after another, a great couple of records to clean the house

Kenya by Machito
Dec 04 2024

Good vibes, good energy

The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
Dec 06 2024

This has been one of my favorite discoveries

Africa Brasil by Jorge Ben Jor
Dec 07 2024

I took me a while, I really like it but maybe some sounds are not exactly my style. Super groovy 4.5

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Dec 09 2024

Sad Bruce took a while to grow on me. I didn't enjoy itwhen I first got it, during winter. But I took my time, and after 6 months it paired very well with the melancholy of long boring summer days

Fever To Tell by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Dec 10 2024

Too angry for me. I didn't remember AT ALL that Maps it's the same song used on Tik Toks at the moment.

May 28 2025

The name didn't say anything, but then I recognized the sound of many song. Remembered me of the first time I listened to the Stone Roses, I enjoyed it

Fred Neil by Fred Neil
May 29 2025

Very soft and sweet but it was not love even though I listened a couple of times. It felt like it was too long but it's just around 40 min.. I don't know I feel like I'm doing it dirty but it's not the right moment for us.

All Mod Cons by The Jam
May 30 2025

This was an amazing discovery! I didn't know anything about Paul Weller except "You do something to me", I'm happy to know more and I will listen to more records by The Jam for sure

May 31 2025

It's the first time I listen to this album despite its fame. I realized I knew way more songs I imagined. It's very enjoyable, but still too long for my liking, hence the 4 stars

Vivid by Living Colour
Jun 01 2025

Interesting to find a black rock band I didn't know about, but to me sound a bit too 80s. I liked "Memories Can't Wait" more than the other songs

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Jun 02 2025

I'm struggling to listen until the end, Trip hop has never been my shit

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
Jun 03 2025

I love to see that some people hate this record because it sounds like a mix of Queen, Pink floyd, Elton John and Steely Dan, and that's exactly the reason why I like it! First time listening to it, I found it incredible, from start to end. And it sounds amazing, top notch production

The Coral by The Coral
Jun 04 2025

Unnecessary in this list, but "Dreaming of you" has been a staple in my mp3 player and I can still vibe hard to that song

American Pie by Don McLean
Jun 05 2025

I read many negative reviews, but I found this album sweet and mellow, it felt like a caress

McCartney by Paul McCartney
Jun 06 2025

Fell in love with this album during the pandemic, man we was lonely! Love Paul, love the album, love the cover SO MUCH

Harvest by Neil Young
Jun 07 2025

Heart of Gold is a masterpiece, but this isn't enough for me to fully appreciate this album. Personally, After the Gold Rush is a step above

Oxygène by Jean-Michel Jarre
Jun 08 2025

Nostalgic and retro-futuristc, reminds me of old videogames and space movies. Can't love this as much Eno's ambient music, but it's entertaining. My favorite segment was pt. 5

The Cars by The Cars
Jun 09 2025

Never heard of it, nice! Reminds me of Blondie in some ways

Pretenders by Pretenders
Jul 02 2025

I have another Pretenders album that I like more than this

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Jul 03 2025

I was driving back home tonight, and Dreams came on the radio (which in Italy is not as common as you would think) and felt instantly happy. What can I say? I love Fleetwod Mac, I love this record

Jul 04 2025

I don't know why I didn't like it at my first listen years ago (of course I DO respect Respect!!!). Maybe it's because I'm older and wiser now, but I really enjoyed the sultry soul sound

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Jul 05 2025

I can feel this album is solid, well built, well composed. But maybe it's too gloomy for me at the moment and I can't *feel* it completely.

Queen Of Denmark by John Grant
Jul 06 2025

This for me falls in the same category as Mercury Rev and Screaming Trees, both bands that I discovered here and make me feel a very specific way that I didn't know before. Maybe I'm lucky I don't get every lyric, I'm just mesmerised by the voice and music, dreamy and slightly dark

If You're Feeling Sinister by Belle & Sebastian
Jul 07 2025

Just like maybe any other Belle & Sebastian album, it's an overall sweet and relaxed listen, with some earworms here and there. If you're feeling sinister, the song, is also quite special to me as it reminds me of the day I bought my first car and then went to a life drawing class, and I made my best nude drawings ever while this song was in the background and I wasn't feeling sinister, but very accomplished, but that song made me happy anyway

The Specials by The Specials
Jul 08 2025

It's one of those things I think I won't like, and then it's something super enjoyable. Good fun!

Good Old Boys by Randy Newman
Jul 09 2025

I really like it, maybe it's a 4.5. "Every man a king" is my favorite

Veckatimest by Grizzly Bear
Jul 10 2025

Just whit noise in the background. I didn't skip the album tho

Os Mutantes by Os Mutantes
Jul 13 2025

Interesting, and opened my eyes to brazilian psychedelic music, but I'd like to hear it remastered

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Jul 14 2025

I think for me it's a 4.5, but it grows with time, sounds amazing and some hits hit really hard. Midnight Rambler and Love in Vain captivate me

Bad by Michael Jackson
Sep 18 2025

I liked Thriller, I loved Off the wall, I'm not sure about this one :(

Sep 19 2025

Thank you for inventing Psychedelic Rock, sadly this album wasn't mindblowing for me and for the first time I realized the newest remaster didn't elevate the quality of the mixed that much. I believe that the "Original Stereo Desk Mix" versions are my favorites

A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Sep 20 2025

It would be disrespectful to give less than 3 stars, but I'm not a jazz girl

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
Sep 21 2025

Listen, I love David Byrne, I love Talking Heads and more than anything I love Brian Eno. But clearly not enough, since I can't *feel* this album :(

No Other by Gene Clark
Sep 22 2025

I like the slightly psychedelic folkish rock sound, but there is something in Clark's voice that I don't like

On The Beach by Neil Young
Sep 23 2025

It's a 4.5 for now, higher than "Harvest" but still not "After the gold rush". I have a feeling it can become a 5. It was a beautiful surprise.

Abbey Road by Beatles
Sep 24 2025

Probably the best Beatles album, showing all their different personalities, romantic, energetic, funny, moving. Perfection

Darklands by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Oct 03 2025

I'm really struggling. I like this album more than Psychocandy, but can't deny that every song sounds the same (although I have a really sweet spot for April Skies and I'm Only Happy When it Rains). It would be a 4.5 but let's be generous today

A Seat at the Table by Solange
Oct 05 2025

chillin', vibin', not gettin' it completely probably because of the language barrier

The Only Ones by The Only Ones
Oct 06 2025

I guess this is another 4.5 that will take a 5 because I'm feeling generous today. Reminds me of the first time I listened to Television, but not quite as life-changing

C'est Chic by CHIC
Oct 08 2025

I thought I would be way moooore annoyed by this album, but I admit it's great background music, groovy but soft

Talking Heads 77 by Talking Heads
Oct 24 2025

I like Talking Heads, but it seems like I cannot put their albums between my favorites. It's more like I love them as a concept

Darkness on the Edge of Town by Bruce Springsteen
Oct 25 2025

If you know Ligabue, this album will show you his origin story. By the way, Racing in the street is a masterpiece. Enjoyable album overall, I'm just not a die hard Springsteen fan

Joan Armatrading by Joan Armatrading
Oct 26 2025

Sweet, mellow, sensual warm voice, solid

At Newport 1960 by Muddy Waters
Oct 28 2025

I think it's just to elevated for my pop taste

Searching For The Young Soul Rebels by Dexys Midnight Runners
Dec 02 2025

First thing I noticed was the brass section, unexpected and very enjoyable. Overall I really like it

Repeater by Fugazi
Dec 05 2025

Fantastic instrumentals, less fantastic voice. Overall not really my vibe, but it was good to learn more about it in other people review, I admire the guy now

Melodrama by Lorde
Dec 06 2025

I really like this album and some songs are absolute bangers, but I'm not sure it will keep its charme in years to come, it feels very specific to a certain time, and to the feelings of a very young person

Penthouse And Pavement by Heaven 17
Dec 07 2025

This is fenomenal, incredible basslines and very poignant for the current state of the USA, 45 years later. It makes me sing and dance and feel rage all together. Some tracks are more experimental and sound a bit like Tortoise. Great discovery, whatever people thinks

Tidal by Fiona Apple
Jan 14 2026

Good background music, magical voice, but I don't see myself thinking "oh I should really listen to Tidal now"

Van Halen by Van Halen
Jan 16 2026

Not that I hate it, but I also don't love it
