Great instrumentation, great production, even some interesting lyrics/subject matter, but Lou Reed just cannot sing.

If this isn’t a perfect album, I don’t know what is. Even the bad song just kind of makes you laugh.

The energy is amazing, and Blitzkrieg Bop is a certified classic. But some of the songs feel really unpolished in an unintentional way because they’re an experienced band, especially when more than half of the songs *don’t have an ending* and even some of the one’s that do is because the band just… stops playing. 53rd and 3rd even has a fake-out ending and then the real ending FADES OUT! I felt like I was losing my mind! Overall some good stuff but it’s hurt by the band’s inexperience (at the time of release).
