Dog Man Star by Suede

1994 was a fucking great year for music

The Score by Fugees

Ms. Lauryn Hill really served on this record. She proves that she was on of the most talented artists OAT. However some of the songs get a little too repetitive for me to give it a 5/5.

Marquee Moon by Television
Jan 08 2024

Marquee Moon isn't at all the type of music I enjoy listening to. That being said, the first half of this album almost made me wanna go vinyl shopping for records from bands like The Clash etc. However once the album is at it's end, I found myself not liking it as much after the first 3-4 songs

The OG gangsters Some of the most iconic rap songs are present on this record

Jan 10 2024

I once heard someone refer to big beat as firework on New Years. Here, there and everywhere but also vanished shortly after. I surprisingly found myself enjoying this. Rockafeller Skank and Right Here, Right Now are near perfect songs. Some of the middle parts and deep cuts don't really hit the same but overall a fun experience. This isn't the type of music I would play regularly, but it's fun to blast once in a while

Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman

Such a strong and unique voice. Fast Car is and will always be a classic!

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand

A modern indie-classic! Take Me Out slaps

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Jan 15 2024

Amy was a vocal powerhouse and she proves that on this strong debut. However I'm just not that into the whole jazz thing

When you open an album with a song like Wesley's Theory, then it's bound to be a masterpiece.

Jul 22 2024

This album is one of the best (if not the best) album of all time. Lauryn's vocals are beautiful and the songs are just so good. Of course there's "Doo Wop", "Ex Factor" and "To Zion", but even the deep cuts are amazing. She really devoured with this one.

Grace by Jeff Buckley
Oct 29 2024

It always deeply saddens me that this was the only studio release he ever got to release. Jeff was so ridiculously talented and this album is perfect prove of this. This man could turn any cover this own and this album is so breathtakingly beautiful all throughout.

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths

Morrissey may suck but this album sure doesn't.

Dirt by Alice In Chains

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Jan 15 2025

Disclaimer: I will not be objective when talking about this album. Soundgarden have always held a special place in my heart and this album brings so much more to the table than just being "The Black Hole Sun Album". It's 70(!) minutes long and every minute is so special and unique. Chris Cornell was a fucking powerhouse, and Kim Thayil, Matt Cameron and Ben Shepherd are truely some of the most underrated musicians of the 90's. I still think to this day that Superunknown is their magnum opus (even though pretty much all of their albums are stellar). From psychedelic songs like "Half" and "Head Down" to sludgy, muddy bangers such as "Mailman" and "4th of July", this album also perfectly shows the insane versatility this band possessed. It's not everyday you find a band, where all band members write songs in the way this band does. Always a joy to listen to this masterpiece <3
