This album is the closest thing I can find to looking inside of John Lennon's mind because of the raw honesty on it. Imagine and Gimme Some Truth show his thoughts on politics, culture, and society with Imagine being the most iconic Lennon song. Oh Yoko is a pure love song to his true lover. How do you sleep is a great look into the Beatles post breakup, specifically with Paul. George playing guitar on that track adds more weight to the bitterness. How is such a beautiful and relatable song about not knowing anything and feeling lost. Finally, Jealous Guy feels like such an honest look into John's self perception where he is honest about his faults as he sees them. Very good album

I like Bob Marley and I understand the importance of his music but that being said all reggae does is make me want to sit on a beach. The songs tend to blend together to me.

boring generic audio mush- if you’ve heard one song you’ve heard them all

The challenge to top thriller is impossible, but this album is a valiant effort

not a fan of generic 80s rock- but some catchy hits keep this one at a 3

some hits and some stinkers but overall a funky good time with the chili peppers
