Metallica
i know this album well but now i have another excuse to fully listen to it so i'll do a each song analysis.
first off, battery. love this song. i always love when metallica starts so soft and then opens up to this heavy song.
master of puppets. also very good arguably metallicas best song according to some people. love this song just very overplayed. i love the first guitar solo that gives this whole different vibe to the song making you think you're listening to a new one and then switching back to the heavy sound you heard earlier.
the thing that should not i love how ominous the beginning is. also love these lyrics i really enjoy metallicas lyrics for the most part bc of how creative they are and i love when bands/artists are able to make an image in your head with their music. the lyrics also really add more of the ominous feeling into the song. also the guitar solo is nothing but amazing but the guitar work in this song is amazing anyways.
welcome home (sanitarium). i love the dystopian feeling of this song somewhat reminds me of master of puppets first solo and sense i love that solo it makes sense that i enjoy this song.
disposable heroes. proabably my favorite song from the album to be honest i just really love this song and the vibe of it and like everything its just to damn good. words can't explain.
leper messiah. love the opening to this song. again with the lyrics it's just too good. love the creativity with this song too. just a banger tbh.
orion. just gotta love bass solos man this song is just the best dude. definitaly one of metallicas best instrumentals which i don't even know how many there are but man this is just awesome and then the bass solo just goes so hard it's just awesome.
damage inc. love how fast paste this song is and its a hit for this album and the guitar solo is just amazing prolly one of the best on the whole album. probably top 3 on the whole album in my opinion. and its just crazy that the song is literally just about senseless violence and destruction.
in conclusion this album gets five big booms in my opinion one of the best albums by metallica and definitely during the 80s.
