1001 Albums Summary

you can really tell that Radiohead had found their sound with this alblum as they moved away from the Grunge of Pablo Honey into what is now the quintessential Radiohead Sound which would provide the platform for their future albums to explore from

Immigrant song deffo slaps but also feels diff to the rest of the album Other songs i liked are Gallows pole, since ive been loving you and Friends

BEATS GO HARD lyrics not so much, but isn’t that the whole point no one expects a gangster to promote positive vibes bit too long whilst some leeway must be given for birthing a whole new genre from this album you can still tell some of growing pains of the style and/or the respective artists also looked it up after listening but weird seeing beastie boys getting sampled when for me I know them for their smapling work P.S: fuck tha police

Like the genre but this album seemed a bit slow for me

This has made me realise if music doesn’t have lyrics I need the instruments to be emotive

nice voice shame i cant hear it most the time

A couple nice songs I find it quite odd that there is a story across the songs but it only starts midway through the album

not my favourite music but excellent story telling/ abililty to create a tone with music

has the elements but lacks something required for it to be good

feels like its targeted to women vocals could be better music good

seems like it jumps genres a little bit and based on the year i imagine this was band that started and/or popurlized theese genres

I Realised I haven’t put this anywhere else so I might as well now 5 = multiple songs which I like 4 = at least 1 song I like 3 = neutral nothing bad/good 2 = irks me the wrong way 1 = a chore to listen to

Some sense of alright music but it’s accompanied by some horrible “noise”

can appreciate the gravely voice but needs to a very rare occasion for me to want to listen to this
