Not my typical cup of tea but not unenjoyable. Some cool stuff going on but overall not a huge fan of the Cure so meh

It’s not bad just wildly overrated. Enough good songs to be a good album but not close to the best of its genre as some people say it is.

Good album, though i do not think i am the target audience. Not a ton of standalone great songs but still enjoyable.

Hilarious that they took a break in the late 70s, discovered synth in Europe and then dropped this beautiful album. Wanted to give it 5 but back half a tad weak

i have never really liked any talking heads songs i've heard so this was a pleasant surprise. cool vibe and mostly good songs (song about buildings was ass)

Nothing groundbreaking but they are the best at what the do. And this is their best

It's like they made a full album out of the ending part of A Day in the Life

Drummer can’t drum the bass player can’t play the guitar player has one riff. The singer is this utter buffoon. But this album had it’s moments

5 stars for production quality + execution of concept. Not my favourite tracks listed but still great

I’m always shocked that this came out in the 80s. timeless and very solid all around

there was way more to this than i expected. obviously some straight forward classic country but some cool basslines and stuff like that too

I enjoyed it for the first half a lot but his voice gets a bit grating after that. Guitars are cool

her voice kinda sucks. hate to say it because all the drugs and homelessness that cam before this but im just keeping it 💯. Why'd You Do It was a fitting closer to the album (it sucked)

The first song is so dumb. Very funny band because they brag about not doing drugs or anything and then the next line is like “I will stomp out a pimp”

Didn’t expect to like this but I listened to it while studying so maybe that helped its case. Got kinda bored of it by last few songs but im feeling generous

Didn’t know they sounded like this. Best part of the album: instrumental bits in papa was a rolling stone. Felt like i was in a 70s spy movie. Worst part of the album: 2nd song (i think I am too white to listen to this)

Not a huge fan of his voice but it works. Really liked everything else which surprised me a lil bit. Would be 4 star w more likable voice

Good classic rock. Some parts were a little basic 70s rock to give it really high marks but a good album

Maxwells silver hammer inexplicably holds a special place in my heart. Whole album is nearly perfect. One of their best

Little bit of everything with this one. Some rock, country, folk, happy stuff, sad ones, and even a little bit of acid. Some of their best stuff

One of the greatest metal albums ever. Only a few average songs and everything else is masterful. Children of the damned so underrated and hallowed be thy name is maidens magnum opus

Wild horses is sooooooo good but everything else is just ok. Very underwhelmed.

Somewhere between 1-2 stars. Only thing making this cohesive is the annoying ness. Not a fan of the vocals, lyrics, or instrumentation. Particularly confused with the constant alien noises in the background. Not enjoyable.

Felt like a cross between Mac Demarco and Orville Peck. Big fan of this album minus the last few songs.

Enjoyed parts. Lot of repetition which at times was a bit grating. Rounding 2.5 to 3 stars (blur may benefit from being directly after super furry animals in my listening order)

Bruce being Bruce. Lot of underplayed bangers on here. Racing in the street my personal fav. *edit* had to edit and upgrade to 5 stars. Been listening non stop for 3 days.

heart of glass is probably one of my favourites of this era. Overall very good album probably somewhere in between 3 and 4 stars

This was fine but it was 22 minutes so not sure what’s going on spotify. Great energy but just gonna go 2 stars since it could’ve been much better.

Really liked the first song but downhill from there. Until the last few songs which were decent again.

Knew many of the songs but some were surprisingly good and unheard of. Overall haunting and wow his voice sounds incredibly emotional. Tear stained letter underrated

The long songs were all good. The short songs were a bit hit and miss

This had some good songs but not sure why it’s on the list. Kinda bland and all I could think was “this sounds like a knockoff of ___” Overall not my favourite and no big standouts

Never listened to Solomon Burke but really liked this album. His voice is like a different flavour of sam cooke.

Never listened to much NIN before but i am now a big fan. The album has a very cohesive theme and many songs that stand up alone as well. 4.5 stars.
