Here's Little Richard

Tutti Frutti, oh Rudy
Them Bones on Guitar Hero. Surprising number of songs that survived to modern radio era.
All timer and Janice likes it
Nostalgia bomb holds up
Some standout tracks, never been my fav, good listen
Mega classic, feels truncated but songs are still 5-8 minutes. Guitar Hero sighting.
Really enjoyed it. Prolific singer songwriter, had heard an album before.
Piano rock, surprised how much I liked it
Hard to believe it's from 77, can hear past and future influences
Surprisingly varied sound. Listened to a lot of classic salsa like this with Jaime
Was hearing some Zeppelin style before you shook me which solidified it. Recorded one year before zep
Would be 5 stars if the mellowness was more my thing
Easy 5 star
Yellow is such a banger, otherwise consistent but mildly forgettable album. Shades of pre-Kid A Radiohead, Dave Matthews, etc.
Opening track sucks you right in, great riffs, warm 70s rock sound.
Good vibes great listen
Surprised by some tracks that everyone knows
Just 3 guys who were having a good time
Doesn't really hold up. The singles are mildly nostalgic and still bump.
Not very accessible
Funky jammy vibe. Janice really liked it.
First one I didn't make it through. Guess I don't want to be a cowboy.
Britrock but kind of boring
Twangy. Long.
Had fun with it. Got Janice up and dancing around.
Decent, kinda boring
Surprised me
Didn't really resonate with me
Always loved pink floyd, hasn't listened to this album more than once before
Surprised me. Didn't recognize any tracks though
More of a 4.5 but rounded up. Really good and influence all my favorite bands.
The one hit that people know isn't representative of their sound. Enjoyed the album
Feels almost… pretentious? but still great
Way more energy than I expected, quite liked it
Reggae britpop ska? I can see how it was influential maybe but not my favorite
Without you > Coconut > Let the good times roll is certainly an all timer of three track groupings. Enjoyed this one, beatles-esque, apparently he worked with Lennons solo career bandmates
Need to listen again
Plenty of soul. Janice liked it more than me
Five stars for the lead guitarist
Decent, jazzy. Learning that Janice really likes soul and jazz
Good 70s rock
Bit harsh but overall interesting
Perfect for driving through the Scottish countryside
One great single, mildly annoying
Lots of samples
RIP Ozzy
Objectively good, not really my thing compared to other jazz/funk type stuff
So dep and gravelly
Enjoyed the arrangements, sax piano flute added to folk
Original vibes, pre-sample sounds, cool time capsule
One of Janice's favs. I like their early work. Still great
I need to listen to more Bowie
Wish this popped up when we were in Dublin last week
Had low expectations but really enjoyed it. Funky and musical
Somehow sounds both old and modern
It’s fine. He needed the other Beatles
Nostalgic and one of the surprisingly best live shows at ACL fest
Bit of a shrug. Decent and can see how it was a stepping stone for new sounds
Everything I don't like about metal music
Like a B+ on a neutral listen. Pretty vanilla and mainstream sound for supposed indie rock. No one likes it more than Brandon Flowers
The overplaying of radio tracks downplays the excellence of the album as a whole
70s detective/buddy cop theme music. I swear several songs are used in movies.
Interesting sound for a bridge album from 90s pop to indie pop
Not surprised to really enjoy this one. Tons of comparisons to indie/alt bands over the years sinces
Kind of experimental. Unexpected wordlessness
