Elis ReginaNot on Apple Music absolute pain to find the best place to listen BUT it’s perfect so it was worth every moment.

Love the live elements. The screaming and the asides to the audience are a great addition. Highlights are the titular How Blue Can You Get? and You Upset Me Baby (I am upset about the fake out at the beginning). The first slow point being Worry, Worry is wild and it kicks right back up after. Good back to front.
Guitar forward album! Worked very often, highlights for me being Friction and Torn Curtain, however! I Did Not like the titular Marquee Moon, found the rhythm to monotonous and headache inducing.
Iconic! Fun! Could be repetitive, sometimes to great effect sometimes not. Highlights include Little Red Corvette and D.S.M.R. Every time I would doubt a song he’d sing the title and I’d be back tbh.
Listening to this was a little bit just discovering the album around No Surprises which has been in my head since listening. I fear I loved it, definitely felt like a cohesive piece.
It’s fine. Highlights are Sunday Bloody Sunday and Drowning Man.
Absolute classic, perfect vibe. Would be dishonest to do anything under 5 after listening to so many of the songs for years.
He’s so horny the crack of dawn has to watch out for him. Three parts jazz album, one part comedy routine? Definitely a vibe, but I don’t think I’ll return to it anytime soon.
Highlights: Poppies, When I Dream, Strange House in the Snow
I can’t decide if rage against the machine is a vibe that I’m just not totally clicked with or too cringe for me to live through so I will be positive.

Hmm
A non-neutral 3. I was surprised how much I liked but the album was so. Long. Was eager for every song to be over by the end.
Truly a classic. Life On Mars? has been getting stuck in my head on and off since listening.
Loved moments at a time but couldn’t stay with entire songs (especially when they can be so long!). Can’t say I could recommend.
Maybe caught me on a bad day but I got annoyed.
I dunno
Very pleasant but unmemorable
Another album that I enjoyed that’s not on Apple Music 😠 I do find it funny describing all these woes when he seems like the jerk every time.
Vibey
Lovely. Calmed me down and put me in a better mood after work.
At its best catchy, at its worst repetitive
Wonderful - I was concerned about the 18 min song dragging then loved it all
Sometimes the bongos were too quiet in the mix - I wanted consistently bongo forward from Bongo Rock. Is the soundtrack for Ocean’s Eleven etc. related at all to this album? I shan’t look it up.
Dark and lumbering
Peace and love on planet earth! The world is beautiful!
Had fun on the first half
Why not
It’s a lot
It’s a Lot
Too Long even before all of the bonus tracks. And I liked the bonus tracks better.
Fun and annoying(?) in a good way
It’s wild how representative Take Me Out is of the sound of the album.
Lovely lovely lovely
The hits are hits - everything else is pretty good
Songs are good but all of them outstay their welcome
First album on this list to inspire nostalgia in me
Well done but not my vibe
The delivery and production works for me for a song at a time - as an album it drags
My alley! This is right up it!
Impeccable! I was concerned that the rest of the album wouldn’t be able to live up to the title track and I’m excited to be so wrong! The urge to sing along is irresistible.
Pitch perfect 80s new wave fair
Swear I listened to this album just this morning but can hardly remember. I know The Man Who Would Be King pinged for me.
That air sure is solid. Lovely throughout
Preferred the back half of the album
I liked it! Had a “gather ‘round for story time with peepaw” vibe that I dig.
Growing up my dad had an old iPod that I would sequester whenever my brother and I stayed at his house. I didn’t like all the music on it and would instead listen to 6 albums over and over and over again - cycling through them for hours. This album was one of the 6 and will always be important to me.
The Layers… Another album from my childhood! I definitely know Esperanza better but all the things I think the later albums build on is here in glory.
Pop rocks kind of ear candy
I like the pacing of this album - deliberately slow and plodding. The vibe bleeds together.
This album is objectively good at what it is going for, I just did Not Want to Hear It today. I liked that it was under 40min.
Staggering how massive the hots on this thing are
Nice
Half of these songs made me surprised the album is categorized as metal. Surprisingly coherent and fluid with this genre stretch
I like the dreamy possessive exit
Blazingly fast album, the songs are charming and done within a moment.
