Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Apr 25 2025

Why does a song called “Antichrist Television Blues” have a happy upbeat instrumental with claps on 2 and 4. Not as lyrically interesting as it wants to be and mostly incoherent with a handful of interesting moments 4/10

Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies
Apr 27 2025

Didn’t try anything extraordinary but overall a pretty pleasant listen. Care of Cell 44 was strong and Changes was pretty creative, nothing else stood out much

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
Apr 28 2025

Queen Elizabeth really knighted this guy?

You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
Apr 29 2025

Really really high 4. Title track, Leaving the Table, If I Didn’t Have Your Love + It Seemed the Better Way are all 5/5 quality Instrumentals are incredibly sexy and Cohen’s voice is perfect for this

Cross by Justice
Apr 30 2025

Sounds like Undertale But in fact it is not video game boss music you are just supposed to listen to it Genesis/DANCE/DVNO brought this up from a 1 to a decent-strong 2

Guero by Beck
May 01 2025

5/5 quality for first 2 songs Saw the vegetable man in the vegetable van 🗣️🗣️🗣️

High Violet by The National
May 02 2025

The fog is coming

Hot Fuss by The Killers
May 03 2025

Last 2 songs sold 😞 Not cohesive + lazy vocals 2nd half, held up by a handful of bangers

May 04 2025

Twenty FACKIN’ five-to-one 🇮🇪 Oh me gamblin’ days are done ❌ I bet on a horse called Bottle o Smoke 💨💨💨 And my. Horse. Won 🐎🥇

Joan Baez by Joan Baez
May 05 2025

Very pretty very folksy very nice. Almost a 4

1984 by Van Halen
May 06 2025

Pollinators clear tbh

Kid A by Radiohead
May 07 2025

4 stars for the 4th best Radiohead album

Survivor by Destiny's Child
May 08 2025

Ts pmo

Talking Timbuktu by Ali Farka Touré
May 09 2025

Dope guitar. Some parts reminded me of Graceland

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
May 11 2025

Live albums always do it for me and this is a great one

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
May 12 2025

Got pulled over doing 110 to Cheating on You

Pretenders by Pretenders
May 13 2025

Definitely ahead of its time but not particularly my jam

A Northern Soul by The Verve
May 15 2025

I would take another 9/11 over another Verve album

American Gothic by David Ackles
May 16 2025

Waiter, waiter! More melodramatic theater kid music, please!

Imagine by John Lennon
May 17 2025

Instrumentals were really nice most of the lyrics and delivery were lazy Shoutout JD Salinger

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
May 18 2025

Pretty flute on the instrumental made me wish the rest was better

All Hope Is Gone by Slipknot
May 19 2025

Really enjoy a lot of screaming vocals Slipknot. Melodic emo vocals Slipknot is hit or miss

Music in Exile by Songhoy Blues
May 20 2025

Pretty good stuff, little repetitive for a 40 minute album

Want Two by Rufus Wainwright
May 22 2025

Mediocre melancholy rock. Gay Messiah and Crumb by Crumb were interesting but not representative of the rest of the album

Yeezus by Kanye West
May 23 2025

Bound 2, New Slaves, Black Skinhead are all Kanye at his best. I love On Sight + Blood on the Leaves too argue with a wall. Not a perfect album but so creative, nothing really sounds like Yeezus Shame Kanye retired on the day Donda dropped and we never heard from the guy again 😢

May 25 2025

I think the intro set my expectations too high the actual music was a slight letdown. Love the chaos of the performance though

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
May 26 2025

Anybody else clock the crazy racist cover art for Summertime

Forever Changes by Love
May 28 2025

Mostly indistinguishable from the Zombies album we listened to Alone Again + Maybe the People Would Be the Times were pretty sweet

Street Signs by Ozomatli
May 30 2025

Ozo rocks, instant fan. Love the genre blend Very early 2000’s sometimes sounds like bilingual Black Eyed Peas

She's So Unusual by Cyndi Lauper
May 31 2025

Some classics and also some trash

Psychocandy by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Jun 01 2025

Cool to hear the origin of shoegaze. Something’s Wrong is peak Edited to a 5 I’ve come back to the album multiple times already

Arular by M.I.A.
Jun 02 2025

No idea what MIA was going for, maybe 2 or 3 songs were even listenable

Jun 05 2025

Very rhythmic, very groovy. Enjoyed… probably never going to seek out anything from this genre on my own but really creative project I’m glad I listened

Purple Rain by Prince
Jun 06 2025

MJ is the only king of pop

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Jun 07 2025

Cool listen, piano riffing was a bit much in some places

Live At The Star Club, Hamburg by Jerry Lee Lewis
Jun 09 2025

Probably would have been unforgettable if I was there live dancing with my 60’s sweetheart. On Spotify and 60 years later, more forgettable.

1989 by Taylor Swift
Jun 11 2025

I am far from a Taylor Swift hater but this is her at her most radio-friendly and unoriginal

Country Life by Roxy Music
Jun 12 2025

Slow start, terrific end, overall okay album with some standouts

Smile by Brian Wilson
Jun 13 2025

Every track except except Surf’s Up violently overstimulated me

Metal Box by Public Image Ltd.
Jun 15 2025

Just the bass by itself dude

At Budokan by Cheap Trick
Jun 16 2025

Bang average live album

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
Jun 17 2025

Decent album but I am tired of techno. The fact that we’ve had this much electronic and yet the only rap albums have been Kanye makes me doubt the quality of this list

Tank Battles by Dagmar Krause
Jun 19 2025

Incessantly, melodramatically mediocre

The Sun Rises In The East by Jeru The Damaja
Jun 20 2025

Basic blueprint of East Coast rap in a good way. If you’ve heard Illmatic or Ready to Die you’ve kinda heard this already but it’s a good album. Better than Jay-Z Best track You Can’t Stop The Prophet, hilarious and awesome storytelling

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Jun 21 2025

Not the best album but the Foxes have a really cool sound. Inspired me to check out more of their stuff

Coles Corner by Richard Hawley
Jun 25 2025

Second half dragged

Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears
Jun 26 2025

Not the best front-to-back experience ever but crazy highlights. Didn’t think Tears for Fears had a song like Listen in their bag tbh fair play

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Jun 27 2025

This would be on aux in a megamall on board the ISS

2112 by Rush
Jun 28 2025

Really charming

Rock 'N Soul by Solomon Burke
Jun 29 2025

Hit or miss, late-game “my baby left me and I’m so blue” songwriting. Done better by many others before it

Chelsea Girl by Nico
Jun 30 2025

Nico does a 45 minute medieval bard impression. Nothingburger

Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode
Jul 01 2025

Depeche Mode basically took the spacy sound profile that dominated a lot of the 80s, marinated it in a Winter Soldier-style steroid chamber, took it out and dressed it up nice with a sort of electronic-techno-futurist base of rhythm and keys, and sent it to war. Pretty awesome and definitely creative and influential. If this is “music for the masses,” then hey man consider me the masses

Odelay by Beck
Jul 07 2025

Bland

Risque by CHIC
Jul 10 2025

J’aime le CHIC… cette musique n’est pas “risqué.”

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
Jul 15 2025

Miles is immortal but dude was just kinda doodling here not sure why this is on the list

Back To Black by Amy Winehouse
Jul 17 2025

Forever in disbelief that Amy’s voice comes from the mouth of a white Br*tish woman

Exile On Main Street by The Rolling Stones
Jul 21 2025

I feel like the Stones’ target demographic is people who liked Queen but stopped listening when Freddie went public with AIDS. Talented bunch though

Red Headed Stranger by Willie Nelson
Jul 22 2025

Willie delivers per usual. Put me on aux in the ox-driven wagon

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Jul 24 2025

RIP Ozzy. Icon and visionary

Here, My Dear by Marvin Gaye
Jul 30 2025

Amazing. Last couple tracks held it back from a 5

Catch A Fire by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Aug 02 2025

Early Wailers is good listening but far from Bob n crew’s best or most radical stuff
