Let England Shake
PJ HarveyAlmost painful to listen to on a couple songs. So bad it was comedic.

Lucy I The Sky With Diamonds is great. The other big hits are ok, but the songs I didn't know were fairly boring. As a whole, seems very overrated.
It's a good classic. The songs are not bad, just not for me. Bandera at the end was a good finish though.
The distorted guitar sound was not enjoyable for the whole album, and the voice is just not good. It's a shame too, because there are some good melodies in there. They just make them sound bad.
The album started with a couple really good rock/bluesy songs. But once you get into the more known southern bayou rock songs it's not as good. If they did more blues rock they would be awesome.
Powerful and heartbreaking. What an amazing album.
A beautiful sound. Lover You Should've Come Over is a 6 out of 5 stars song.
A legendary voice. Can't deny she sounds great, but not what I would choose to listen to ever.
Definitely not for me. Just sounds like any other old western style music I've ever heard.
Kind of liked it just a little more than I thought I would. Lots of moments of cool instrumental parts.
A very strange experiment of how many instruments you can put together that really just don't go together.
He's pretty great. But I feel like he has some better stuff out there to really push the 5 stars.
No problem listening through any Prince album.
It's meh.
Very good, but MJ gets better than this.
The hardest one yet for me to make it all the way through. I was almost angry with how bad it was by the end. This one made me question how badly I want to complete this project.

Bunch of nonsense noise
I do love a lot of these songs, but I can't justify giving the album a whole 5 stars. They're just a fun band, not a musically amazing one.
Good stuff. Some songs don't land perfectly for me, but Corey Taylor is pretty awesome.
I liked the instrumental parts of the album
Lots of mixed feelings throughout this album. I think I normally love this kind of talented instrumental stuff, but this one was not hitting for me. Largely felt like Davis's trumpet and Coltrane's sax were not meshing until the very last song. For a jazz album, I was a little disappointed in the lack of detailed drum time. Still good music though.
The songs weren't necessarily bad, they were just annoyingly boring. Each song was just a simple beat or riff that carried on for 4 minutes and provided almost nothing exciting to listen to.
What an interesting experience. Had a few good funky jams, but I probably won't ever find myself listening to it again.
Great album. Had no idea Jack White would be playing piano through most of it.
I can't say it's bad music, but listening to the music that plays during the opening credits in 1950s movies is not what I'm here for.
Didn't know anything about this so it was an awesome surprise. 5 stars for the insanely outstanding bass and guitar throughout this album.
Well I guess I'm a fan of The Cure now
4.5 stars really. Great riffs, and a powerful album for understanding that being an angry rebel delinquent actually stems from being more grounded in reality. Very relatable in many ways.
Another one I would give 4.5, but since I have to choose I will go all 5 for this one. Really liked seeing it live a lot better though.
It's great, but still this must be the least exciting of their albums. I'll be looking forward to all of their other albums on this list.
Did not know that I was going to find this to be as good as I did. Though some of the language is outdated, the lyrics were very interesting to listen to. And Lauryn Hill crushed it.
I get it. It was very influential. You can hear how these songs had an impact on a lot of music that came after it. But they just don't really do it for me. They never have.
Didn't dislike it as much as I thought I would.
Well that was weird. Maybe you just had to be there?
I think if I had lived through the late 60s I would have really liked Cream.
Listening to his cadences is incredibly satisfying. So unique and special. Would love to give this 5 stars. But respectfully, I can not enjoy the harmonica.
Never heard of her, but she was not bad. Solid voice, good tunes. Just not what I would normally listen to. I'd give 3.5 stars.
Absolutely legendary. Wish I could have been there when they terrified the world with that opening track.
Another one I have never heard of, but I loved it. Most of the album gave me Celeste soundtrack vibes, which made me happy. And now I want to go play that game again.
Can't deny it, it's brilliant.
It's ok.
This felt like a prank. Annoying nonsense sounds thrown together that I did not need to listen to at any point before I die.
Great album. I should probably get them in my music rotation every now and then.
The whole time I was listening I was thinking this is what it would sound like if Eric Clapton created a jazz band. Then the last song had a quick little Clapton riff in it and I felt completely validated.
Can not believe I have never even heard of a band that sounds this good.
I was going to give 4 stars until the big drum solo at the end. Can't give anything less than 5 for that.
I think the psychedelic jazz idea could be pulled off a little better than this. Had a few good moments, but overall underwhelming.
Boring guitar, boring drums, boring vocals. Nothing memorable in the melodies and choruses.
Really does not appeal to me at all. So hard for me to even stay focused on it while I'm listening.
Cheers to fun synth solos
The songs that are good are really good. But then the other songs are just goofy.
Pretty much just perfectly average rock music. Good guitar, but the songs aren't overly exciting.
