1001 Albums Summary

Meh. Too many covers. Got too frothy in the second half. The first few tracks were ok

Great album. Singles are a bit stronger than the rest of the album but over all, really good. I love the cover of "Love Song".

Jammier and more complicated musically, than I remember. Definitely a snapshot in time, but nothing I think I'd return to much. Still a couple bangers though

Short fast and loud. I love how in another world, this could have been a very poppy record. Definitely a classic. Now I wanna sniff some glue!

Siouxsie is a blindspot for me. I never really listened to them. I love English post-punk,but aside from a couple songs, I can't see me returning to this much.

I like Kendrick but had never heard this album before. I appreciate it as art, I see the statement being made, but it's not something I'd want to turn on for fun or listen to while driving around

What if Blue Rodeo had a female singer who couldn't carry a tune? I couldn't wait for this to be over. 2 stars because the actual music is good. The singing is just terrible.

Derivative and uninteresting. White people doing Black music with no credit. Opening track was decent. Some songs were a little sex pest-y too.

Absolutely didn't need to be a double album. It was so unbalanced. Some songs were really tight and fun to listen to, others sounded like they were just screwing around. The good songs were good though, so 3 stars

I love British post punk, but this was just kinda "meh"
