Sulk by The Associates
Dec 08 2025

Loved the production, sounded crystal smooth. Lyrics were interesting but vocals hidden in production made it tough to really appreciate. Not my vibe but as an album a pretty cool project

Station To Station by David Bowie
Dec 09 2025

Interesting mix of soulful/exotic music with introspective lyrics pondering Bowie’s religion/outlook on life. Some songs go on for a while long, but overall pretty good

Dec 10 2025

Regardless of the classics, the rest of the album holds up. Highlights are Things Go On, I Ain’t the One, and Tuesday’s Gone, the latter of which does drag a tad long but is still compelling. Overall the album is great as a whole, with a compelling Rock/Country vibe, jumping solemnity and playfulness, with familiarity helping make it an easy first and repeatable listen.

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
Dec 11 2025

Like finding your way through the fog of a red light late night

Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan
Dec 12 2025

Easy listen but needed time to really enjoy. Favorite tracks are East St Louis and the final 3 track run

Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Dec 16 2025

Good album, lots of energy. Not my favorite but good if I need a kick

In Our Heads by Hot Chip
Dec 17 2025

Not really up my alley, but is an easy background listen and is genuinely a pretty smooth sounding album

Grace by Jeff Buckley
Dec 18 2025

Very good, clean production, great vocals, a nice mix of somber and energetic songs. Highlights are unsurprisingly Hallelujah and Lover, You Should've Come Over

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
Dec 23 2025

Good vocals, nice to just put on in the background for a 60s vibe

A Hard Day's Night by Beatles
Dec 30 2025

Cmon now. It’s the first Beatles album with only original material. Banger of a pop album

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Dec 31 2025

Objectively was pretty good but it’s not my cup of tea

Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake
Jan 01 2026

Very enjoyable. Like a rainy day spent looking out the window

Low-Life by New Order
Jan 02 2026

This was a banger. Intro track was fire, so was the rest of the album

Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies
Jan 05 2026

One of my favorite albums of all time. Start to finish, a psychedelic masterpiece up there with the greatest 60s albums. It has hits, it has deep cuts, it’s an all time great.

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Jan 08 2026

A strange but enjoyable listen for me. I don’t typically like this type of music, but I found myself intrigued by a lot of the songs, with the highlight for me being Intervention

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Jan 12 2026

Kind of a banger

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Jan 13 2026

I mean it is a classic, but admittedly not my type of classic rock

Seventh Tree by Goldfrapp
Jan 14 2026

Can be a bit cheesy but overall very enjoyable listen. Favorite song was Happiness

In It For The Money by Supergrass
Jan 15 2026

Extremely fun listen. First four songs absolutely slap, while the rest of the album still bangs but could be lifted by a little more energy. Really cool album, particularly like the title track, Richard III, and the funkiness of Sometimes I Make You Sad

Jan 16 2026

Solid country album, but not something I’d put on usually. Catchy melodies, but nothing too crazy

3 Feet High and Rising by De La Soul
Jan 19 2026

A definite vibe. Would probably rate it higher if my mood was HIGH

The White Album by Beatles
Jan 21 2026

One of a kind. Best array of music that could be found on any album ever, done in a way that never feels jarring. Revolution 9 sucks, but everything else is incredible. Is it a bit long? Who cares. It sold. People love it. It’s the Beatles White Album. Shut up

The Doors by The Doors
Jan 22 2026

Certainly a classic, but not particularly my cup of tea

Frampton Comes Alive by Peter Frampton
Jan 28 2026

Not a huge fan. Catchy and easy to listen to music, but just not my catch. Also didn’t like the “want to be molested. who cares how old you are”

Triangle by The Beau Brummels
Jan 29 2026

Very fun short listen. First and last songs are the highlights for me

To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar
Feb 02 2026

One of the greatest albums of all time. Lyrics, production, aesthetic and vibes. Once in a decade type of album

Pearl by Janis Joplin
Feb 03 2026

Pretty darn good

Blood And Chocolate by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Feb 04 2026

It feels like I should like it, but I just don’t. Tokyo storm warning is pretty good, though a little long

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Feb 05 2026

Best Simon and Garfunkel album as a whole. Half a concept with Bookends, half a hits comp with some of their best. Save the Life of my Child, one of their only overtly psychedelic songs, is a personal favorite.

Os Mutantes by Os Mutantes
Feb 06 2026

Not a word was understand. Vibes were phenomenal. Very fun listen

So by Peter Gabriel
Feb 09 2026

It was enjoyable, nothing crazy but pretty alright

The Scream by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Feb 11 2026
I See You by The xx
Feb 12 2026

Inoffensive pop. Nothing too interesting, but I’m an idiot so maybe I missed it

Purple Rain by Prince
Feb 16 2026

Me. And my Rat family

Madman Across The Water by Elton John
Feb 24 2026

Tiny Dancer and Levon are always great - Madman Across the Water is also pretty good. Otherwise, the album feels alright but nothing too special

Tuesday Night Music Club by Sheryl Crow
Feb 27 2026

If I could give half stars, id give this 3.5. Very enjoyable, just too many songs that lasted too long that I didn’t care about

Low by David Bowie
Mar 03 2026

Liked it more than Station to Station, but still doesn’t do much for me

Mar 05 2026

Pretty good. Really liked the brief “Soldier’s Poem”, and in general that middle section of tracks that moved along steadily

Be by Common
Mar 06 2026

Very smooth record. Lyrics are great, production’s great, just gets a little too stale at times for a 4

Synchronicity by The Police
Mar 09 2026

Surprising in some of its depths. Not what I expected to find when finally listening to the Police, in a good way. Not quite a 4 for me, but still really good

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Mar 10 2026

Good, but I’m just not a Neil Young guy (can’t stand Helpless). Highlights for me are Carry On, Woodstock, and Our House. Also liked 4 + 20 and Teach Your Children

Transformer by Lou Reed
Mar 11 2026

Glam rock isn’t my thing. Satellite of Love is my highlight

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Mar 19 2026

Started growing on me

Skylarking by XTC
Mar 20 2026

A bit cheesy at times, but the psychedelic vibe is great. Dear God is a standout of emotion in the album

The Bends by Radiohead
Mar 23 2026

It was pretty good, but Radiohead still evades me…

American Idiot by Green Day
Mar 24 2026

The first four songs elevate this album tremendously. The rest of the album kinda meanders in places, with some highlights for me (St. Jimmy, Gove Me Novacaine, Wake Me Up” but the others lose me

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Mar 30 2026

A more matured sound that was more my speed than their debut

Moondance by Van Morrison
Apr 08 2026

Very enjoyable, and surprisingly very diverse

Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
Apr 16 2026

Great album with some of their biggest hits. Only downside is cohesion and a little bit of filler

Roxy Music by Roxy Music
Apr 23 2026

Pretty great music, the vocals are not my fav

Kid A by Radiohead
May 11 2026

I’m… just not a Radiohead guy

Dr. Octagonecologyst by Dr. Octagon
May 15 2026

Really cool sound, but a little too much NSFW to play on the aux

Illmatic by Nas
May 25 2026

One of my favorite rap albums of all time. One Love and New York State of Mind in particular are person favorites

Tidal by Fiona Apple
May 26 2026

Pretty good

Horses by Patti Smith
Jun 01 2026
Tea for the Tillerman by Cat Stevens
Jun 02 2026

Miles from Nowhere was a highlight. This album feels like it should be right up my alley, but sometimes I feel he becomes preachy/holier-than-thou (ironic coming from a Bob Dylan fan).

Graceland by Paul Simon
Jun 16 2026

Love this album - pinnacle middle aged divorced Dad album
