Loved the production, sounded crystal smooth. Lyrics were interesting but vocals hidden in production made it tough to really appreciate. Not my vibe but as an album a pretty cool project

Interesting mix of soulful/exotic music with introspective lyrics pondering Bowie’s religion/outlook on life. Some songs go on for a while long, but overall pretty good

Regardless of the classics, the rest of the album holds up. Highlights are Things Go On, I Ain’t the One, and Tuesday’s Gone, the latter of which does drag a tad long but is still compelling. Overall the album is great as a whole, with a compelling Rock/Country vibe, jumping solemnity and playfulness, with familiarity helping make it an easy first and repeatable listen.

Like finding your way through the fog of a red light late night

Easy listen but needed time to really enjoy. Favorite tracks are East St Louis and the final 3 track run

Very good, clean production, great vocals, a nice mix of somber and energetic songs. Highlights are unsurprisingly Hallelujah and Lover, You Should've Come Over

One of my favorite albums of all time. Start to finish, a psychedelic masterpiece up there with the greatest 60s albums. It has hits, it has deep cuts, it’s an all time great.

A strange but enjoyable listen for me. I don’t typically like this type of music, but I found myself intrigued by a lot of the songs, with the highlight for me being Intervention

Kind of a banger

I mean it is a classic, but admittedly not my type of classic rock

Can be a bit cheesy but overall very enjoyable listen. Favorite song was Happiness

Extremely fun listen. First four songs absolutely slap, while the rest of the album still bangs but could be lifted by a little more energy. Really cool album, particularly like the title track, Richard III, and the funkiness of Sometimes I Make You Sad

Solid country album, but not something I’d put on usually. Catchy melodies, but nothing too crazy

A definite vibe. Would probably rate it higher if my mood was HIGH

One of a kind. Best array of music that could be found on any album ever, done in a way that never feels jarring. Revolution 9 sucks, but everything else is incredible. Is it a bit long? Who cares. It sold. People love it. It’s the Beatles White Album. Shut up

Not a huge fan. Catchy and easy to listen to music, but just not my catch. Also didn’t like the “want to be molested. who cares how old you are”

Pretty darn good

It feels like I should like it, but I just don’t. Tokyo storm warning is pretty good, though a little long

Best Simon and Garfunkel album as a whole. Half a concept with Bookends, half a hits comp with some of their best. Save the Life of my Child, one of their only overtly psychedelic songs, is a personal favorite.

Cool vibes

Tiny Dancer and Levon are always great - Madman Across the Water is also pretty good. Otherwise, the album feels alright but nothing too special

If I could give half stars, id give this 3.5. Very enjoyable, just too many songs that lasted too long that I didn’t care about

Pretty good. Really liked the brief “Soldier’s Poem”, and in general that middle section of tracks that moved along steadily
