Arguably high 3s, but mostly liked the songs. Album itself is too long though (with slightly different versions of the same songs and some interview clips). Would try other songs by them

For some reason not what I was expecting, but they're v chill, weird quiet stuff with gentle acoustic guitar, etc. Rating lower just because 1 v long song was actively unpleasant to listen to (The Murder Mystery), but otherwise enjoyed if in the mood for that vibe

Considered a 4 because I enjoyed parts and think in the right mood I'd enjoy more, or possibly just other stuff by them, but parts of the album were not very enjoyable so I'm rating more harshly

4.5? Considered a 5. I liked the slight psychedelic + rock vibe, mostly fun songs.

I'd listen to the first half of the album again, but increasingly throughout it's more mixed-pleasantness instrumentals. Punk vibes in ways both fun and meh

As I recall the last Talking Heads album was meh, even though I’ve heard and liked them before… and this was what I’d been hoping for from that one. Putting aside the unnecessary Outtake additions at the end and a bit of weirdness, quite enjoyed!

A bit too experimental/pretentious to fully enjoy, with lots of slow weird shit, but parts of it were legitimately fun. Parts of Pt 4 sound very much like parts of the Stellaris soundtrack (if it were instead a 70s electronic album called Oxygène)
