3.5/5 This CCR Album was good but felt like the gas pedal was to the floor the whole time. Had so many great songs, but could have used a ballad or slow down in there. Also I heard it through the grapevine was unnecessarily long.

This album is a nice and simple listen, nothing too dramatic or energetic. Great for a cold snowy day that I have right now. This album reminds me of my Alt-Rock era and the album ultimately leaves me wanting a show stopper song I cant help but sing along to, but the laid back nature keeps me from getting that. Overall, it was a good listen but not anything above average.

What a great album, makes me think of my brother and playing video games with him. This album is full of hits like the title track, American idiot, boulevard of broken dreams, and wake me up with September ends. Green Day is a great example of early 2000s punk rock. I would gladly listen to parts of this album again and again.
