Mellow, a little annoying, good for evenings or for rides to the bedlam when you check yourself in. When I listened to Georgia on my mind I do wanted to listen to ray charles version instead. Very badly.

Absolutely awesome. A classic for a reason.

Smooth experience, good music for evenings with your significant other. I chuckled when I imagined the artist in the recording booth waving to his own singing.

A few hits, some are miss. Good 80s vibe

When you take the novelty of animated band away it’s a mediocre album. I think most of the appeal came from marketing back in the day. The only good tracks very also released as singles. Some tracks are hypnotic, but if it weren’t animated with the strong marketing behind it, it would not have been nearly as successful. The sharp S of the lead singer irks me.

I don’t hate it.

The lead singer has a nice voice, the mix of genres and sounds, in some of the tracks from cacophony to a real track is trippy. It’s different and not in a bad way.

That hazy, aimless ambient stuff was not easy to listen to. Unfinished sympathies was pretty good. Daydreaming re indes me of the background music of a b movie that takes place in a Club before the slasher arrives. For a band called massive attack, it’s pretty tame.

Such a varied album. Wonderful ballads, funny songs, uplifting tones and under one roof. I am pleasantly surprised.

I see the appeal for certain demographics, I am not it

This is pretty nice 60s music. Tracks like white rabbit and somebody to love are well known and still bang. The rest is easy to listen to. I like it.

That’s a great satire of the hippie culture and how hallow it or any other youth cult becomes when it’s monetized. The pseudo-deep nature was deconstructed nicely.

Solid hip hip with nice lyrics

For dark lonely nights in your honky tonk with a can of beer in the one and a cup of black coffee in the other. The Voice of her makes it palatable. It’s ok I guess.

Dreamy and dark, easy to listen to, but the songs seem a little repetitive at times. Still good stuff.

Late stage Elvis. Always good for a listen, but most certainly not in his prime.

80s synth indie. Pretty mid, I like the guitar and instrumentals, but the singer is…special.

Strong voice, even better songwriting. Sone of the lyrics give me the good kind of goosebumps.

Too whiny for my taste. Had to listen to deep purple afterwards to cleanse the pallet.

I like it a lot , but not as good as Be

I like Stevie wonder, but this album is one of his weaker ones. It’s alright, but not a masterpiece.

It felt like he was bored out of his mind and Iman told him to make a new album to get out of the house and do more. Not his best album, the moxy is missing.

It’s as mid as it gets, a dime and a dozen.

Intriguing mix of electro, 80s 8bit music and something I would say Brit pop despite the name.

It’s alright, but most songs sound really similar

If my kids ask me what synth pop is, I refer them to this and tell them also that parts of the 80s might have sounded like this.
