Stardust by Willie Nelson
Apr 16 2026

Mellow, a little annoying, good for evenings or for rides to the bedlam when you check yourself in. When I listened to Georgia on my mind I do wanted to listen to ray charles version instead. Very badly.

Apr 18 2026

Smooth experience, good music for evenings with your significant other. I chuckled when I imagined the artist in the recording booth waving to his own singing.

Gorillaz by Gorillaz
Apr 20 2026

When you take the novelty of animated band away it’s a mediocre album. I think most of the appeal came from marketing back in the day. The only good tracks very also released as singles. Some tracks are hypnotic, but if it weren’t animated with the strong marketing behind it, it would not have been nearly as successful. The sharp S of the lead singer irks me.

Maxinquaye by Tricky
Apr 22 2026

The lead singer has a nice voice, the mix of genres and sounds, in some of the tracks from cacophony to a real track is trippy. It’s different and not in a bad way.

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Apr 23 2026

That hazy, aimless ambient stuff was not easy to listen to. Unfinished sympathies was pretty good. Daydreaming re indes me of the background music of a b movie that takes place in a Club before the slasher arrives. For a band called massive attack, it’s pretty tame.

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
Apr 24 2026

Such a varied album. Wonderful ballads, funny songs, uplifting tones and under one roof. I am pleasantly surprised.

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Apr 25 2026

I see the appeal for certain demographics, I am not it

Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane
Apr 26 2026

This is pretty nice 60s music. Tracks like white rabbit and somebody to love are well known and still bang. The rest is easy to listen to. I like it.

We're Only In It For The Money by The Mothers Of Invention
Apr 27 2026

That’s a great satire of the hippie culture and how hallow it or any other youth cult becomes when it’s monetized. The pseudo-deep nature was deconstructed nicely.

Illmatic by Nas
Apr 28 2026

Solid hip hip with nice lyrics

Shadowland by k.d. lang
Apr 29 2026

For dark lonely nights in your honky tonk with a can of beer in the one and a cup of black coffee in the other. The Voice of her makes it palatable. It’s ok I guess.

Disintegration by The Cure
Apr 30 2026

Dreamy and dark, easy to listen to, but the songs seem a little repetitive at times. Still good stuff.

From Elvis In Memphis by Elvis Presley
May 01 2026

Late stage Elvis. Always good for a listen, but most certainly not in his prime.

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
May 02 2026

80s synth indie. Pretty mid, I like the guitar and instrumentals, but the singer is…special.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
May 03 2026

Strong voice, even better songwriting. Sone of the lyrics give me the good kind of goosebumps.

Fuzzy Logic by Super Furry Animals
May 06 2026

Nope, not for me

May 07 2026

Too whiny for my taste. Had to listen to deep purple afterwards to cleanse the pallet.

Dig Me Out by Sleater-Kinney
May 08 2026

College Rock of the mediocre kind

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails
May 09 2026

This was a trip indeed. Those guys invented boss music for future games it seems

The Only Ones by The Only Ones
May 10 2026

Bar background music

Talk Talk Talk by The Psychedelic Furs
May 11 2026

Hard to listen to

Killing Joke by Killing Joke
May 14 2026

This is really cool punk. Glad I was able to get the recommendation

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
May 19 2026

Dreams is lovely and a lot of other classics. This one is pretty good.

The Modern Dance by Pere Ubu
May 21 2026

Yikes. If I would have stolen this from a record store back in the day I would demand my money back.

I See You by The xx
May 22 2026

Relaxed with a bit of pump. Nice experience.

Live At Leeds by The Who
May 24 2026

I like The Who but live albums ….

Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
May 28 2026

I like Stevie wonder, but this album is one of his weaker ones. It’s alright, but not a masterpiece.

The Next Day by David Bowie
May 29 2026

It felt like he was bored out of his mind and Iman told him to make a new album to get out of the house and do more. Not his best album, the moxy is missing.

american dream by LCD Soundsystem
Jun 03 2026

Intriguing mix of electro, 80s 8bit music and something I would say Brit pop despite the name.

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Jun 09 2026

I didn’t hate it

Ray Of Light by Madonna
Jun 10 2026

A solid e try in her career, more dreamy and in line with the water theme

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Jun 11 2026

Camp counselor camp fire music

Toys In The Attic by Aerosmith
Jun 14 2026

Classic rock, sweet emotion and walk this way are still amazing

KE*A*H** (Psalm 69) by Ministry
Jun 18 2026

I like me some harder music, but this is not so Intriguing

Shalimar by Rahul Dev Burman
Jun 22 2026

🙂‍↔️

Foo Fighters by Foo Fighters
Jun 23 2026

It’s alright, but most songs sound really similar

Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin
Jun 25 2026

Classic rock, pretty good

Jun 26 2026

If my kids ask me what synth pop is, I refer them to this and tell them also that parts of the 80s might have sounded like this.

Berlin by Lou Reed
Jul 01 2026

Mellow and pleasant, despite the subject matter

New Wave by The Auteurs
Jul 06 2026

The music is pretty good, but the singer and his strange way of singing makes me cringe

Is This It by The Strokes
Jul 07 2026

This is the annoying background music in the alternative cafes or restaurants in Berlin, where the service is abysmal as the food.

OK by Talvin Singh
Jul 08 2026

Yikes

Odessa by Bee Gees
Jul 13 2026

So glad Disco happened for the bee gees

OK Computer by Radiohead
Jul 14 2026

Music for crybabies

Ogden's Nut Gone Flake by Small Faces
Jul 15 2026

I thought it’s a Zappa parody first, but they truly meant it.

Fred Neil by Fred Neil
Jul 26 2026

Dreamy, not too bad

This Year's Model by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Jul 27 2026

Sound’s surprisingly new

Smash by The Offspring
Jul 28 2026

This one is rad, self esteem is a classic and the rest of it is pretty nice

One World by John Martyn
Jul 29 2026

Grandmas bedroom music, this is what a few of your parents were conceived to in the 70s or 80s

Yeezus by Kanye West
Jul 31 2026

I don’t rate it in his political views, but Kanye had better albums. Some of the tracks hurt my ears done are really good, it’s a mixed bag.

Clandestino by Manu Chao
Aug 09 2026

A Spanish singing castrati

The Stooges by The Stooges
Aug 10 2026

Pretty good stuff

Aug 15 2026

All tracks sound pretty similar. Must be good to be the wife of a genre changing artist so you can make mediocre music.
