Saw the album cover thinking this was going to be some strange bluegrass revival album, pleasantly surprised but it starts strong, falls off, then comes back with a final terrific track

Really incredible blues work, every song is a head mover. Vibe of the album feels similar to Dylan’s Time out of Mind, not in terms of sound.

Genuinely fun and endearing album the entire way through, alongside some of the hardest hitting beats of the era

Extremely understandable why this is such an iconic influential album. The sound and especially atmosphere of this album hit you down to the bone and stick. Great vocal recording.

not bad but genuinely can’t think about anything this album does than any of its contemporaries. feel like the production doesnt hold up to the conceptual and artistic aspects, especially with the Indian vocals. Very striking but it’s applied in a dull way.
