1001 Albums Summary

"Here, There and Everywhere" is a highlight. Some of the songs lack direction. Overall it just sort of is the Beatles.

"Paradise City", "Welcome To The Jungle", "Sweet Child O' Mine" Full of (head)bangers Unfortunately, I prefer softer stuff. Still a crazy album

Absolutely charming Never heard of Sam Cooke before this but I really like him now His fun and relentless energy drives the album beautifully

Not good but not actively bad "Halloween" was easily the worst song on the album

Noise-complaint "music"

I never stopped smiling listening to this album I originally thought Bruce Springsteen was mid but I realised from the whistle-blow that I hadn't given him a chance yet Beautiful album

Not actively bad Although I wouldn't listen to this on my own time, I wouldn't be dismayed if it came on the radio

Literally the TikTok of all albums The longest song is 2 mins 30 secs The best songs on the album are concentrated mid-end but overall worthy of a 4

Unique... Does as it aims to

44 MINUTES FOR 6 SONGS Shock aside, I don't get why this album is rated so low

Overall vibe A couple real good songs I thought Led Zeppelin did hard metal but had a pleasant surprise

The vocal lines talking over each other saying different things throws me off Overall, still a strong album

The ultimate sample-making machines

I really want to expand my musical horizons... But I'll just say not there. No. I want to expand them to somewhere with coherence.

The album is way too repetitive but at least it makes sense

Wow This is an extremely strong 4

Better than Nirvana Worse than something that would be on my playlist

I hate her voice but at least I know what's going on

Really good album A lot of songs on my playlist

The same issue I have with prog rock Anything that I like is buried in things I don't

A great album Just missing some extra flare

I'm neutral on hiphop

Pretty good instrumentation Lyrics make me very uncomfortable

The best grunge album I've had so far But I don't like grunge

Just background music Way too long songs too

A bit heavy for me but still an absolute vibe

I don't like the vibes of grunge At least some tunes seemed manageable

WAY TOO LONG But the music was pretty good

The weirdest stuff I've ever heard... At least it had potential and the instrumental was alright

A REALLY STRONG ALBUM Loved the piano and guitar

SO MUCH BETTER THAN DARK SIDE OF THE MOON For context, I hated that one and gave it a 2 This one rocks so it's a really high 4

Has groove and heart

The Beatles in disguise It's still insane to me that these people turned out to do disco

A celtic album stuffed full of real soul and love

Instrumental is really good Her voice is questionable

I thought life was actually alright before I listened to this album Hate the vibes Instrumentals are nothing to write home about Lyrics make me uncomfortable

WAY TOO HEAVY

How to make this album: Spam bass drum Write nonsense, disturbing lyrics Stuff some random irritating noise in there Oh yeah, and shove the distortion up that high that the listener's earbud turns to a crisp

Way too hard rock but they pull it off

It rocks, dude! It's fun and has soul

Too heavy for me Had some good songs though

Just to be clear, this is me rating the music and not how he was as a person! To much breathing into the mic for me but there was incredible groove

Nothing to write home about

If you know a melody but don't know the name of the song, odds are, this album is the one for you

DAYUM, WHO LET HIM COOK Crazy vibes from the beginning

I like easy listening songs, like ballads, soft rock, jazz, reggae and some other genres, just not this. Also, if you start talking about torture methods in the middle of your album, I ain't sticking around

Disregarding the god awful album cover, the music is also rough. It's either emotionless garbage or uncomfortable

Pretty good Nice folk influence This had no effect over my rating but RIP Dolly Parton, you will be missed

Some alright songs but SO INCOHERENT! You can have a beautiful acoustic ballad right next to the world's most techno jargon

Just like a better Beatles Fun songs Sick

Hell yeah bro Classic rock with no strings attached

Loved it Really lovely album

It's very funny... Ice T I don't know if it's intentional... Ice T However, there is some really meaningful commentary... Ice T It's just not my kind of music... Ice T

It's just beautiful country

That's pretty sick Insane voice

Dawg, this is bollocks Sings the same note through the whole thing and every song sounds the same

Not the best ABBA But still really good

Some funny jokes in there Songs were really drowsy though

[This is my review not taking into account how he is as a person] Don't like the high over-autotuned voices but it's just not my thing

A decent album, a lot of the stuff feels a bit out of place within the context of the album but I can appreciate the love put into it. This review is To be continued...

Bass, Hi-hat, Snare, Hi-hat Generic lyrics The best parts were unironically the talking parts between songs There are rappers out there that are so much more talented Just not my bag

[Not rating the artist as a person] Dayum, that's the good stuff This album is just stuffed with so much groove, it's hard not to get into it

Unobtrusive folky rock What isn't to love

A bit too miserable for me, but seemed ok

Seems ok A bit too "medievally" for me

Pretty fun Way too long songs though

Some questionable songs But there's some really good songs on there

The songs are that overwhelmingly miserable that I left unsatisfied. Also, hands off Simon and Garfunkel, "Bridge Over Troubled Water" is an incredible song without your intervention of raw sadness.

Full of celtic bangers An absolute vibe

Lovely folk rock Just a fun album

It combines Avant Garde (which I hate) with whispering (which makes me uncomfortable). This is my second least favorite album I've had on this list.

Perfect background music for criminals. Unfortunately, as an album, it is uneventful.

Just a question... Who is this for? Like, genuinely, who wants repetitive, over-synthesized, faux-intelligent, moody jargon. That being said, it was less than mid.

What da synthesizer She is trying SO hard to be attractive, but it just ain't working

A bit heavy for me, but still a decent album

DAYUM, they cookin' Full on 80's and I love 80's

David Bowie in disguise

Alright all the way through. But the last song alone brought this from a 4 to a 3

A pretty good album Would love it if it was a little less robotic

A bit too heavy "Alright" is undoubtedly the best song on the album
