1001 Albums Summary

Felt like I was at Belizean culture night (I know he's not Belizean but that was what it reminded me of)

It was fine. Beatles -esque. It works for background music

Definitely kept me on my toes. Some songs felt more rock, some metal, and then even some bluesy stuff on the last song. Not really my style but I didn't hate it

This was awful. It was such a slog from beginning to end. I'm so glad I only had to listen to one disc. It reminded me of a teenage garage band, Ross' sound from friends and my kids banging on the piano

I actually really liked several songs and even recognized a couple. Would definitely listen again

It was ok. I like Moondance but everything else was just fine

What in the depressing acid trips was that?!

Meh, though I'd rather listen to these guys than a couple of the other recent albums

It was fine. A little weird musically but not the worst thing I've heard on here

Not my favorite.

Was good background music or movie music but didn't do much else for me

I didn't hate it but it was really close. Especially The Kids and The Bed songs ... Those did not make me feel good. If I could give half stars, I would

She has a beautiful voice. Not sure I'd seek out folk music but if I did, I would probably listen to more of her.

Very refreshing to have music from sometime in the last 35 years. I don't think I loved it or would seek it out but it wasn't bad

I actually liked them more than I expected

This sounded like they just recorded a warmup session and no one was playing the same song for more than a few measures...

I liked the black album better

I feel like he had to be a country singer with a name like Dwight Yoakum 😂

I'm not sure if I was waxing poetic bc Dolly just died but I enjoyed it more than I expected

I was waffling between three and four stars, but I pushed it up to four just for Mike's sake

Track #2 was a little pearl clutchy for me, but otherwise not bad. I recognized the song Everyday People had been sampled in a song from Rent

My favorite song was the Ronnie song 😂

I really liked this album. I'd only heard his later stuff, which, at the time, I wasn't a huge fan of, but I really enjoyed this one

I liked it better than the other radio head album I've listened to but not by much

I just wish they knew how to spell better 🤪

I don't remember hating it as much as the other Bob Dylan album I've listened to but he's definitely not my favorite
