Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Jul 13 2026

Generally a pleasant listen. No glaring flaws, just light and fun tunes. Byrd's guitar playing was solid and Getz is of course a beast on that sax (especially the tone of his sax is peak).

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Jul 14 2026

not bad. takes a song or two to pick up the pace but after that it's solid. not an album that i'll return to often though probably.

Ten by Pearl Jam
Jul 15 2026

Has a couple great songs on it, but as a grunge album doesn't really move me as much as a Nirvana or an Alice In Chains does.

Sea Change by Beck
Jul 16 2026

pleasant listen but firmly in that "pretty good but not noteworthy" zone

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Jul 17 2026

Musically the songs are quite good but damn it's basically impossible for a 2hr album to be engaging the whole way through. So yea 3 stars but on the higher end of 3 stars cause the songs are for the most part pretty good

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Jul 18 2026

Lot of great songs in here. A tad long but for a double album it stays engaging enough. i maybe could've done without the third disc though; the jams are fine enough but i don't think they really add much to the album experience. Overall I still like this album though.

Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
Jul 19 2026

This is definitely my bad night's sleep talking but I wish this album was a bit more energetic. It has its bops, sure, but man I'm really not fond of the slower songs on here. I'm sure this album will redeem itself when I revisit it in the future but for now this rating will suffice.

Arise by Sepultura
Jul 20 2026

Meh i just don't find this album all too captivating. Not a fan of the vocals and the instrumentals don't really grab my attention. Not a bad album just a tad boring to me

Raw Power by The Stooges
Jul 21 2026

Great garage rock/proto-punk album. I like how rough Iggy's vocals can be and that the album is pretty short. Deservedly a classic

Rock 'N Soul by Solomon Burke
Jul 22 2026

This album probably goes so hard for soul enthusiasts. Unfortunately I'm not one of those, so this album is just alright for me. It's got some good songs and it's short enough that it doesn't start to drag, so fine enough for me.

We're Only In It For The Money by The Mothers Of Invention
Jul 23 2026

A very wacky and weird album. Maybe a little too wacky and weird for me at times but it has enough good songs for me to at least somewhat like it.

Catch A Fire by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jul 24 2026

this is my first time listening to a reggae album and it's... fine, i guess. There are great moments like that guitar solo on the first song and the last few songs are pretty good too, but as a whole the album just isn't that exciting to me.

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Jul 25 2026

The first handful of songs is really good, after that it kinda drops off a bit. No bad songs though

Kind Of Blue by Miles Davis
Jul 26 2026

I don't think it's ridiculous to say that this is the quintessential jazz album. It has everything you'd want from a jazz album; it's great whether you just want cool background music or you want to give your full attention looking out for cool details.

Mr. Tambourine Man by The Byrds
Jul 27 2026

A little samey but overall a very solid album

Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin
Jul 28 2026

i've never really been as big on the album as others seem to be. Idk I just feel like they could've left out most of disc 2 and it would've been an infinitely better album. Also for a good amount of the songs on here Plant sounds like he took a cheesegrater to his vocal cords. I'll still give it a decent rating though cause the good songs are pretty damn good

Solid Air by John Martyn
Jul 29 2026

Lovely singer-songwriter album with jazz, funk, psych & other influences in it. Some truly gorgeous songs in here (particularly Over The Hill)

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
Jul 30 2026

Very strong first half, second half is pretty good too but man that first half is insane.

For Your Pleasure by Roxy Music
Jul 31 2026

Great art rock album. Some brilliant songs in here (special shout-out to in Every Dream Home A Heartache and Grey Lagoons)

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Aug 01 2026

Big fan of the beats on this album. Love that one on Rhymin & Stealing in particular, that mash-up of When The Levee Breaks and Sweet Leaf works really well. The vocals and lyrics can be a little hit or miss but generally still pleasant. Not bad

Dig Me Out by Sleater-Kinney
Aug 02 2026

Love me some feminist punk. Great energy, instrumentals and vocals. Lovely album.

The Hissing Of Summer Lawns by Joni Mitchell
Aug 03 2026

Great album with beautiful vocals and awesome instrumentals (I'm especially fond of The Jungle Line and its eerie melody)

Rubber Soul by Beatles
Aug 04 2026

The first truly great Beatles album. The songs were pretty advanced for the time but still very catchy and the album as a whole is very easy to just listen to in one go. idk what else to say, i love this album

Under Construction by Missy Elliott
Aug 06 2026

Good beat work and good performances, just isn't really an album i feel like returning to anytime soon.

California by American Music Club
Aug 07 2026

Some great songs in here, but overall just a good album.

A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Aug 08 2026

Another classic jazz album. Part 1 and 2 are amazing and 3 and 4 are great as well.

Van Halen by Van Halen
Aug 10 2026

if this was an EP consisting of the first 5 songs it could've been an easy 5 star, but unfortunately the rest of the album just isn't as good

Dookie by Green Day
Aug 11 2026

a Bit monotonous but a couple bangers in here

Tarkus by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Aug 12 2026

It's obvious that the title track is the main focus of the album and that side B is filler for the most part, but the filler tracks are pretty good as well. Also I love that album cover, one o fmy favourites ever.

NEU! 75 by Neu!
Aug 13 2026

cool album but they really didn't have to put some random bullshit at the end of most of the songs

It's A Shame About Ray by The Lemonheads
Aug 14 2026

it's a neat album but theres not much to say about it really. It exists and it's not bad

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Aug 15 2026

The singles are great, the rest a tad boring

Rio by Duran Duran
Aug 16 2026

title track is a classic of course. Also a big fan of The Chauffeur. idk what else to say, solid album i guess.

Vanishing Point by Primal Scream
Aug 17 2026

some of the sounds on here are neat but there was not a single moment that i actually cared about this album.

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Aug 18 2026

there are flashes of decentness but generally i think it's bloated and not too interesting. also doesn't help that kiedis likes kids

You Are The Quarry by Morrissey
Aug 19 2026

few cool moments but overall not an interesting album really.

Hejira by Joni Mitchell
Aug 21 2026

I'm quite fond of Joni Mitchell's music and this album is no different. Great instrumentals (shoutout to Jaco Pastorius on bass) and vocals.

Moon Safari by Air
Aug 22 2026

Something about this album tickles my brain just right. It has made a surprisingly strong first impression on me. In the future I could maybe see this becoming an all-time favourite of mine.

Ocean Rain by Echo And The Bunnymen
Aug 23 2026

Very good album. Killing Moon and Silver are SO peak and the rest is great as well.

Back In Black by AC/DC
Aug 24 2026

the music itself isnt too bad, has a few bangers even, but im always gonna feel slightly racist listening to this

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Aug 25 2026

the music is fine but it's a little too long for me and the concept isnt really gripping me.

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Aug 26 2026

Generally good vibes and all that, but outside of the iconic title track I don't think I'll come back to anything on here anytime soon

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton
Aug 27 2026

this album got given to me the day after she died which is kinda crazy Anyway I hate to say it but I'm not too big on this album. The more fast paced stuff like Traveling Man is great but the slower stuff isn't for me. Still, RIP Queen

The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra
Aug 29 2026

Very cool, good vibes jazz album. Also that album cover is awesome

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Aug 30 2026

I mean this album is neat, has some lovely songs, but I feel like for me most of the aura comes from the album cover and not much else.

The Score by Fugees
Aug 31 2026

i think pras is kind of a nothing burger on this album but Wyclef is great on the hooks and Lauryn Hill is of course great overall. Full of bops and bangers.

Space Ritual by Hawkwind
Sep 02 2026

Some pretty cool (psychedelic) jamming. Was quite fun while listening but it's a little too long and probably won't really stay in my mind for long. Still happy I got to hear it as Hawkwind is one of those bands I vaguely know but hadn't gotten around to listening to yet.

Sep 03 2026

This album is pretty nice. Her singing is great and the variety in types of songs/sounds is cool as well.
