I have listened to this album before.
I went through a rolling stones "phase".
Not my favourite of their albums, but Sympathy for the devil is an amazing track.
Always been a fan of Cohen, my mam would regularly play his early works.
I had never actually checked out this album, glad I now I have.

I appreciated some of what they were going for, it just didn't click with me. I almost feel bad giving it a 2, but there is no 2.5 option, and I wouldn't give it a 3 from me.
Love me some Funkadelic, this was such an ear worm on the day I listened to it.
I never listened to this album of his before, good stuff.
Some of the songs are great, some of the songs are not so great. Pusherman, Give me your love, and Superfly really carried this album for me.

There are one or two tracks that don't click with me, like Alabama song,
but the rest more than make up for it.
I had heard a cover of epic by Brass Against a while ago and thought it was great and that I must look up the original. I never did that, so I was pleasantly surprised when it came on. I really enjoyed listening to this album, it felt like a combination of some different sounds that were emerging at the time.
Absolute classic.
My favourite Bob Dylan album, shelter from the storm is in my top two of his songs.
A fun listen, it led me to 90125 which I quite enjoyed.
I don't think I have ever actually listened to Ryan Adams properly. Good stuff, that first track is a great intro to him.

A great album, some songs have a truly unique and often bizarre sound, some of which I love, and some not so much.
I have never listened to Bjork before. I was pleasantly surprised by the album. Heirloom I found particularly resonating.

I got Folsom prison earlier in my 1001 journey, and I commented that I preferred San Quentin, so I am glad to see it on the list too. Boy named Sue is iconic. No hate to June obviously, but I think companion brings this album down.
There's a reason they're in the rock and roll hall of fame.
