Popular Reviews

Opus Dei by Laibach

Finally, something with a personality, with a distinct atmosphere. I was surprised how much better is their version of Life is life and the rest could be a perfect soundtrack for a dystopian movie.

In Rainbows by Radiohead

This album did not let me cold. Firstly when I listened to it I would certainly rate it a 4. Fortunately I kept thinking about it the whole day and suddenly I listened to it two more times. First 5 of this list

Goodbye And Hello by Tim Buckley

Nice album to listen to. I liked how melody was combined with pessimistic lyrics.

Sincere by Mj Cole

I admit I did not listen to the whole album, but it was so uninetresting. Melody was okay I guess.

To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar
Feb 10 2021

Well, it´s not my thing, I guess. I am still enjoying more of a 90s rap (hip hop). However I really liked some the songs (2nd part is definetely better), the combination of different genres worked very well and lyrics were also sometimes quite interesting. Nevertheless most of the time I was simply bored, maybe the fact, that I don´t live in the US, has also some influence.

Bossanova by Pixies
Feb 11 2021

Just awesome, nice and cheering music. I definetely need to dive more into Pixies later. Best album I have listened to so far. Mainly I recommend "Is she weird?" and "All over the world".

2112 by Rush
Feb 12 2021
In Rainbows by Radiohead
Feb 13 2021

This album did not let me cold. Firstly when I listened to it I would certainly rate it a 4. Fortunately I kept thinking about it the whole day and suddenly I listened to it two more times. First 5 of this list

Feb 14 2021

Just really nice and chilling music. Dylan is indeed more of a poet than musician, so naturally you will get much more from the song when you actually focus to lyrics. I really enjoyed it.

Ingenue by k.d. lang
Feb 15 2021

Just really chilling nice to listen album. K. D. Lang definetely puts a big amount of work into her songs. Unforrunately for me it didn't work for me. While listening I wasn't quite struck by it on the emotional level. What a coincindence I got this on the Valentine' s day.

Surf's Up by The Beach Boys
Feb 16 2021

I like several songs by Beach boys, but none of them is on that album. I wasn't very impressed, so I am deciding between 2 and 3. Maybe because of melody and some lyrics I am gonna give it a 3, but maaan.

Feb 17 2021

Really nice surprise. One of the best albums here so far. Some songs are maybe unnecessarily long though.

Another Green World by Brian Eno
Feb 18 2021

I was so excited after the first song and then it was slowly letting me down. What a pity.

Pump by Aerosmith
Feb 20 2021

I was so determined after my listening to give it a 5. But several hours later I can't feel it. There are some great songs, however I don't think it deserves a 5.

Hypnotised by The Undertones
Feb 21 2021

Quite a boring album. Lyrics were meh and musis seemed repetetive.

Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones
Feb 22 2021

Such a great album with a nice country flavor. Really strong 4, maybe 5 one day.

Rum Sodomy & The Lash by The Pogues
Feb 23 2021

I didn´t expect them to be so...Irish. It was a fun ride.

Dig Me Out by Sleater-Kinney
Feb 24 2021

Generally I would give it a 3, but the day wanted me to have the mindset for this. Fun ride.

Being There by Wilco
Feb 25 2021

First song great, the other ones were quite sleepy. 2.5

Woodface by Crowded House
Feb 26 2021

Oh yeah it 's pretty good.

Parachutes by Coldplay
Feb 27 2021

Such a nice melody. Even though I don´t like their current music that much I need to check out songs from their earlier years.

Feb 28 2021

I don't know how to be positive about this album. I knew some songs before and those songs had a nice melody. However the lyrics were in my opinion pretentious and unintersting. Sometimes the mixing of sounds was quite awful.

In It For The Money by Supergrass
Mar 01 2021

I was quite surprised by it. Nothing special but I had a good time.

Tapestry by Carole King
Mar 02 2021

It's not the Best thing ever but I thought that it was cool listening in that moment.

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Mar 03 2021

Experimental, pesimistic tone combined with uplifting lyrics. Interesting album.

Goodbye And Hello by Tim Buckley
Mar 05 2021

Nice album to listen to. I liked how melody was combined with pessimistic lyrics.

Exile On Main Street by The Rolling Stones
Mar 07 2021

Probably better than Sticky fingers, but still I think (hope) that Rolling Stones can be in even greater shape.

Sister by Sonic Youth
Mar 08 2021

Not bad, but not that interesting to give it a 4.

You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
Mar 09 2021

Such a great voice from Cohen. Some songs were great, some od them probably won't stuck in my head.

Bluesbreakers by John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers
Mar 11 2021

Well that's what I expect from rock music in 60s. Really great album. Even though It's not enough for a 5, I will definetely come back to it.

Scream, Dracula, Scream by Rocket From The Crypt
Mar 12 2021

I got such hyped with this. That's how I imagine classic rock music. Definitely I will listen it again. However I don't think it's something special for 5.

Solid Air by John Martyn
Mar 13 2021

Great album. Martyn has nice voice. Good lyrics.

Clandestino by Manu Chao
Mar 14 2021

Such a relaxing music. I will definetely revisit it again.

Rip It Up by Orange Juice
Mar 15 2021

Quite okay. You could hear how they wanted to differantiate from the other musím back in the 80s, however that didn't quite worked for me.

Madman Across The Water by Elton John
Mar 16 2021

Really good music. I am not such a big fan od Elton John, but afer this I am gonna give him a chance. My favorite song from him Tiny dancer is here and that's also a big plus.

Ragged Glory by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Mar 17 2021

Worse 4, the songs later in the album seemed to me a bit on the same note. Anyway, good rock album from late "80s".

Opus Dei by Laibach
Mar 19 2021

Finally, something with a personality, with a distinct atmosphere. I was surprised how much better is their version of Life is life and the rest could be a perfect soundtrack for a dystopian movie.

Darkness on the Edge of Town by Bruce Springsteen
Mar 20 2021

Again I like this type od music from 70s, 80s. Bruce has a nice voice, songs are different from each other. Probably better than most of 4 ratings here.

Back At The Chicken Shack by Jimmy Smith
Mar 21 2021

Good, calming and charming jazz. I will probably come back to it, when I will tired after long day.

Leftism by Leftfield
Mar 22 2021

Fine metody without emotional value. I Canon absolutely listen the music, it just doesn't hit me by my heart.

Eagles by Eagles
Mar 23 2021

When I focused on a music itself I started to be quite dissapointed, the sound is fine, but that's just it.

School's Out by Alice Cooper
Mar 25 2021

So weird and so over the top. Alice Cooper was totally somewhere else with his music. I liked it a lot.

Mar 26 2021

I had a pleasure time with this band. Although I am not sure how much it was swing or pop or something else.

Channel Orange by Frank Ocean
Mar 27 2021

Is this one of the best 4s so far? Probably yes. I am really surprised how well the album sounded. The melody with a differnt genres, including rap. There are some flaws, which tear it a bit down to make it a 5. But maybe one day...

The United States Of America by The United States Of America
Mar 28 2021

I don't it is not that bad, but the try for psychedelic rock just doesn't succeed for me.

Olympia 64 by Jacques Brel
Mar 29 2021

Nice music, pretty voice, but Brel plays the game mainly on his lyrics. Even though I am learning French I am not able to understand it properly. Not even talking that near the end I was little bit bored.

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Mar 30 2021

Good stuff, I like how they combined their rock with the rap sections.

Definitely Maybe by Oasis
Mar 31 2021

One of the better 4. I am excited for their next albums, because this has some potential. So far I prefer Oasis over Blur.

Dog Man Star by Suede
Apr 01 2021

I don't know what to say about it. Maybe it's okay.

Armed Forces by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Apr 03 2021

That's how Buzzcocks should have sounded. I will probably listen to it again.

Sincere by Mj Cole
Apr 04 2021

I admit I did not listen to the whole album, but it was so uninetresting. Melody was okay I guess.

Fragile by Yes
Apr 06 2021

Good, distinct album with a little spice of industrial.

Kenza by Khaled
Apr 07 2021

Fishscale by Ghostface Killah
Apr 08 2021

Oh yes, I enjoyed it. With "Be easy" being the Best song.

Master Of Puppets by Metallica
Apr 09 2021

Great to listen, I recommend playing agressive Red dead redemption 2 gameplay while listening to it.

Quite classic psychdelic rock from that era, I liked it.

Quite nice relaxing music.

Swordfishtrombones by Tom Waits
Apr 20 2021

Interesting voice, but quite an average album.

Colour By Numbers by Culture Club
Apr 22 2021

Hmm, quite a generic 80s music. However that doesn´t mean I did not enjoyed it, some of the songs were really catchy.

Beach Samba by Astrud Gilberto
Apr 23 2021

Really such a non-captivating music at all. Lyrics were quite lame, but the sound often times saved the whole song.

Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake
Apr 24 2021

So calming and charming music, which I just need to respect. However it didn't hit my emotional string.

Ray Of Light by Madonna
Apr 25 2021

Weaker 4, some of the songs were quite great, however I wouldn't mind if the was about 10 minutes shorter.

Tres Hombres by ZZ Top
Apr 26 2021

Oh yeah, it got me moving over my room.

Foxbase Alpha by Saint Etienne
Apr 27 2021

It wasn´t terrible, but after a while you just get bored by it.

Our Aim Is To Satisfy by Red Snapper
Apr 29 2021

I don´t know, I was esily boored by the album, but I am gonna feel bad if I rate it lower than average 3, because I simply couldn´t listen to whole thing.

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Apr 30 2021

So strong and immersive album, I loved the whispering tone which was present almost the entire album.

The Visitors by ABBA
May 02 2021

I already know ABBA, there were less knnown songs, which I also enjoyed.

Little Earthquakes by Tori Amos
May 04 2021

Great album, some sings seemed to me to be a little sleepy vibe, but I wouldn´t be surprised to give it a 5 one day.

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
May 05 2021

Strong 4, it is not something, which I will probably remember for long time, but some songs were especially great. Mainly Maggot brain.

Come Find Yourself by Fun Lovin' Criminals
May 06 2021

And they say it's better than crack, plus It keeps them mellow and passive... I guess... Methadonia

Fromohio by fIREHOSE
May 07 2021

Nice rock, but didn´t hit me.

May 08 2021

Great and well known songs by Nirvana, even I have some weak spot in my heart for them.

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash
May 11 2021

A solid 3. I wouldn´t say that it´s something extraordinary, but there are some great parts, such as at the beginning and the middle of the album. Quite a good production as well, but still it did not hit me on an emotional level.

Ill Communication by Beastie Boys
May 13 2021

Low 4. It is a classic, but still it left a little bit underwhelmed.

Yank Crime by Drive Like Jehu
May 14 2021

Just a real mid. Nothing interesting.

American Idiot by Green Day
May 15 2021

Almost a 4. One of my favorite bands of my teenage years, but unfortunately I pretty much grown from them. There are some great songs, but on the other hand there are quite generic and very long, repetetive numbers, which drag this album down.

Picture Book by Simply Red
May 16 2021

Great 80s album. Found myeelf dancing

Strong 4, I would fall in love if I was younger
