Creedence Clearwater RevivalJust about every track is excellent. 1970, feels like a super authentic, expressive period for CCR. Heavier and most transparently blues influences, at least one blues cover on this one.

Sounds like 2009 in the best possible way, very enjoyable. Good period synths sounds.
Not my favorite Neil Young, a couple nice tunes but overall more middle of the road hard rocking Neil Young, and less poignant folky Neil Young.
What I personally want metal from this era to sound like
Good for what it is, super early punk. It probably broke a lot of ground and influenced many many other groups. But it's not really my style
Nice grunge/hard rock for this era, just not really my style
Fucking hell, this guys voice and pitch are terrible. Had to stop midway through. Can't finish this one. Some okayish indie vibes on the first 3 tracks but can't listen to this.
Classic, one of the best
Really nice album but mostly average except for a few tracks that really encapsulate and communicate some really complex emotions. Worth just listening to the singles but not necessarily the whole album.
Super well produced with many interesting timbres and textures, good songwriting. A bit slicker than other Beck I've listened to, but in a good way.
Nice album that feels very rooted in the time, so folk, some jazz, some indian influence. It gets a down vote due to some sloppy guitar work.
One of the two albums that convinced me Frank Sinatra was worth listening to. Nelson Riddle deserves equal praise for making this album what it is.
Classic album and still so so good
Not my era and not my style so lower points in general. However, in my opinion there weren't many stand out tracks in general here.
Sounds like Bowie in best way, I didn't enjoy it as much as classic Bowie, but still great
Poppy Indian music, very good but maybe a little too poppy/dancy for my tastes.
Very good early Sabbath, 3.5 stars
Just not a fan of this era, super 80s in all the ways I don't really like
Does and does not sound like 1968. Has a lot of the styling of the time, but with many experimental sounds/ideas/concepts that I have not heard from music of this period
Neil Young at his best
Good early Who and nice to hear their blues origins in a very transparent way.
Classic Fela Kuti.
Great live energy, gives a glimpse into what it must have felt like to see those shows live.
Decent pop of the era, but I find Ahoni's voice a bit annoying, too much narrow fast vibrato in general. Some nice moments that feel genuine and vulnerable, but mostly middle of the road.
I didn't find this to be a transcendent live experience, good, but not sure yet why it's on the list. Still The Who though, very good, 3.5 stars.
The hit is timeless but the rest of the album is good but not amazing.
Not necessarily my cup of tea, but super interesting and ahead of its time.
Excellent afro-cuban jazz
Good, not my favorite Bowie, but enough classics on it to be up there, 3.7 stars
Very good, just not my cup of tea
Excellent electronic music of the era
Needs another listen, excellent hip hop of the era
This album is phenomenal and I'm still confused at how Jimi was able to make the music he did at such a young age.
One of my very BB King albums and favorite blues albums of all time.
Classic, so many good songs on this album
Dated in some ways but very good dance/electronic of the era
Some solid songwriting here, this album deserves it's iconic status, in 2022 these songs barely sound dated.
Great punk album and super ahead of its time, just one of my least favorite genres
I'm sure it's great for an smooth 80's reggae fan, but not for me
Very good for the genre, just not my favorite genre. Some nice moments though
meh, not a fan of the 80s as much, and dude can't really sing in tune
Clearly way ahead of it's time and was probably an inspiration for other artists I've listened to. That being said, sounded sloppy, unfocused and a bit "jammy", there's stuff here I don't think should have made the cut.
Such a good album of this style of blues
Definitely not my style or era, sloppy, messy, poorly recorded and kind of boring. Could not finish this one.
Not my preferred style, but great album and ahead of it's time
Classic for this era and part of my childhood
Super unique and interesting for it's time, some great songwriting, excellent production. Was really surprised by this album so it gets a slightly higher rating
Good solid rock album, just not my style.
I understand if was of an era, but not my style at all
Excellent songwriting, production, guitar solos, and many good tracks on this album.
Pretty good for what it is and definitely takes me back to a specific time in 90's history, but just not my style.
Definitely ahead of it's time and influential, but also sloppy blues garage rock, not really my style.
Actually pretty damn good, remove one star for lack of imagination in naming.
Not necessarily my style, I've never found REM to be particularly compelling, but a beautiful and super strong album. Helps me see the hype a bit more
Not a huge beach boys fan, although I definitely found it interesting, some of the songs surprised me in that there were of a very different nature compared to what I expected Beach Boys to sound like
Not my era and just not very good
Not really my style but very good for what it is
I can understand the appeal, but I can never get over the sloppiness and lack of care I often hear in this kind of music.
Good, just not my style at all
Definitely adult contemporary, but very good. Nice songwriting and delivery
Some people are really into raucous sloppy irish bar bands, not this guy
The album is good, but not a huge fan of Nico. Not just because of her personal views, just not a great singer
The hit is good in it's own way, but in general this album is weak and some very bad sax going on here
Well done and super interesting for its time period, just not a big fan overall
Super cool worldly experimental folk from the late 60's
Good for what it is, but not my style, too sloppy
Good for what it is, not my style
