An easy and intimate Sunday morning album.

I thoroughly enjoyed this bouncy classic. Smart, pop-y bangers.

Any song with Nico is a big NO for me. I really dislike her boring, sleepy, unusually low and monotone voice. Not sure if the songs were good at all, because I just can’t stand her voice that much. Immediately skipped. That said, I was surprised that I kinda dug the deconstructed vibe of the rest of the album. ‘European Son,’’ ‘I’m waiting for the man’ and ‘Venus in Furs’ were the songs I most liked.

If Queen and the Talking Heads had a baby and that baby was a little bit into Celtic and Southern music. Theatrical. Upbeat. Big. Come on Eileen is a classic, but I really enjoyed 'Jackie Wilson said...'

Sappy, simplistic lyrics about love and heart break. Music is hit in miss between runway sounds and complex bleeps and bloops. Too sappy for me.

Intense. Dark. Unsettling. I really like this, but it also makes me feel super uneasy.

Perfected Pop Anthems. Undoubtedly well constructed pop songs that get stuck in your head. A little too perfect.

Foot tappin’ awesomeness.

I know this is iconic 80s Tina Turner, but the pairing of the synth and her voice do not do it for me.

I had to skip most songs at about 1/4 through because they were unlistenable. I had hoped because they sounded a bit like Jimi Hendrix. But no. A big meh.

Listened to this album while shoveling the wet snow from the driveway. It was a perfect album to get me going.

Noisy. Angsty. Iconic. Awesome.

This is amazing. I flippin' LOVE French rap. This has everything - beats, flow, plenty of melody and retro sounds.

Sounds like a weird art school project that wouldn't even get a good grade. Not music. Awful.

Radio head vibes but more commercial. Really this is 3.5 star for me. I could see listening to it again, but not a ton.

Space cult music. Weird in a way that wasn’t remotely fun. Skipped most the songs 45 seconds in.

Wasn’t sure when the first song came on. It gave me 1980s masculine island vacation vibes. Luckily, the rest was timeless and awesome.

A fun listen - very theatrical and quirky.

One of the most influential albums in my musical taste. This is forever a 5-star album.

Conflicted on this one. On one hand, it’s an interesting sound. I can see the influence this had on bands I do like, such as ‘Mum.’ But, it’s also really repetitive and sometimes unsettling.
