Badly Sung Songs
Can see why this is one of the top albums of all time. Classic Metallica. Some all time bangers on here. This album still gets a lot of play.
This is what I’d expect from a Talking Heads album. Eclectic and weird. But I vibe with it. Couple of classics in the middle.
This for me epitomizes how hard it is to put out a great album. The Police in peak flow... two great songs (Message In A Bottle & Walking On The Moon). And still most of the tracks are just a bit middling.
Coldplay is such a down buzz I don’t understand why this band was so big.
Great short punchy Bowie album. Not a heap of hits, but Golden Years is a classic.
Punk Rock Opera Loved it. Some classics in there. Was an ambitious album for Green Day given their earlier stuff before this. But nailed it!
Self absorbed useless cacophony of sound. I want my time back. I want to give 0 stars
Great 90’s NY hip hop. Really enjoyed this!
Norman Cook is a genius! Banger after banger. I remember this album coming out. Songs still hit as hard now as back then. Would give more than 5 stars
Soft British suicide rock. It says a lot when ‘Why Does It Always Rain On Me’ is your most upbeat song. Great song though
Classic Elvia Costello sound throughout. Not much variation. Oliver’s Army was a good one, and can hear why it stood slightly above the rest of the album.
Just trying everything to sound like Michael. The outfits, the dancing, the beats, the random scream vocals - all just a rip off of Michael. The album did not need a single interlude. Yet it has so many.
So many better bands in this genre than Turbonegro. High school band wanting to be a bit punk and a bit harder rock. Lots of noise
Good vibes. Hard not to bop along to the music and James Browns voice is iconic.
Morrissey is great. The Smiths were great. Really enjoyed this album. Couple of catchier poppy songs which sounded great with Morrisseys voice.
Started so strong! Can’t stand me now - classic. Really good example of a polished indie rock band from the early 00’s. Album became a bit repetitive. Downhill after song 1
Jazz Funk Chaos Liked this more than I thought I would. Need to settle back down my multiple personalities after that listen.
Mostly chaos. Couple of huge hits in the middle. Synchronicity II Every Breath You Take King of Pain Not and end to end classic album, but some good listening in there.
Badly Sung Songs
Great album. Full Billy Joel experience. Only the Good Die Young - absolute banger!
Good vibes - easy listening. I looked at the song list and did not recognize a single one by name. But there were some gems in there I had definitely heard before. Punchy short album. Can see why they got such a following in their day.
So of it's time. Weird rock mix of Bowie and The Beatles. 6 songs and only 36 minutes - thank God!
AWFUL! This is the type of music to commit suicide to. Run a warm bath, light a candle, get a razor blade out, put this on and let go.
Not my jam. Strong voice though. Can imagine she would have been popular in her day.
Have heard Elvis Costello, without having ever listened to a full album. Liked it. Few songs I recall hearing before.
Kind of enjoyed this. Like a punk version of The Smiths, mixed with The Clash. Got a little more peppy in the 2nd half of the album. The style is a bit slow for me and not a single instrument played well. Would listen again, but it wouldn’t get a lot of play. Like Leonard Cohen - if you don't dig the voice, then this guy is not for you. And there was this dude a year above me in school called Billy Bragg. He was an absolute Lad.
Some absolute classics in this album. OutKast were at their peak when this came out. Was very unique to have two separate albums in each, but goes to show that the duo were likely looking for different things from the music by that point.
Good quality singing and playing. Not my style of music, and so each song is a bit same same.
Awful
Weird. Every song almost felt like a different genre. Wouldn’t go out of way to listen again
Epic album. Loved it. Beastie Boys at their finest!!
Mellow but good vibes, and entertaining enough to keep listening. Red Eyes is a great song, I’d add that to my regular rotation. 3.5 stars. So rounded up. 4 out of 5.
Awesome album. Classic Radiohead
Great album - Paul Simon flexing his solo muscles. Few classics in there that are timeless. 5 stars
Bit boring. Trying too hard to be edgy. Can’t really sing. Not my vibe.
Good album, with some dance electronic beats to jam too. A bit more background music than some of the other Prodigy albums. Not their best work, but still good enough

Bit average and a too experimental for me
Was really hoping for more from Black Sabbath. Disappointing. Pretty bloody boring actually.
Good vibes. Classic talking heads weirdness. Bit boring and background music. Enjoyed it, but didn’t capture my imagination.
I really enjoy the offbeat Bob Dylan sound. Good album, blues rock pop feel throughout on top of the folk nature of his voice and lyrics. Only recognised the first song ‘Like a Rolling Stone’ but that didn’t take away from the enjoyment. 5 stars
Strong album, with some hits in there that have lasted the distance. 4 stars
Really good. Great beats. Big Poppa’s iconic rap style. Lyrics on point. 5 stars
Chrissie Hynde is such a cool chick rocker. Good album. Not as many songs I knew as I had thought I would. Enjoyed it. Brass in Pocket - classic! 4 stars, almost 4.5
Good beats. Interesting punk rock. Singer is terrible. Singer drags it from 3.5 to a 2.
Great album. The raw and full effect Arctic Monkeys. Later albums became more polished and commercial. But this still has a fresh unpolished punch to it. Love it.
Shit. Absolute garbage. Waste of time and energy to listen to. Just a random collection of noise and mess. Another example of why 0 stars should be an option.
Pretty avg punk grunge. A lot of noise but not much substance.
Some great Santana sounds
Good album. Not the best of Bruce, but some good songs.
Chaotic pile of shit. 0 stars
Boring average rock 1 star
