Different Class by Pulp
Sep 19 2023

Pretty enjoyable not a big fan of the songwritting its sounds a little basic but the instrumental is very good. I wouldnt be surprise to learn that they were a big inspiration to Black Country, New Roads. This album sounds like them but in a more cheerful tone. Solid Project.

I Should Coco by Supergrass

Super energetic album! I was hooked as soon as I heard the opening track. So good! I've already heard Alright before but lost in memory. So glad that I rediscovered it. Even gladder that I listened to the full album. Time To Go is a perfect closure.

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Sep 21 2023

I was pleasently surprised with this one. When the iconic Sixteen Saltines came on I thought I was on a ride through a White Stripes album but as it played further I was left with a bunch of really good Folk/Country/Rock songs wotch was a nice switch of pace. Jack White is criminally underated. I might even dare say it's a White Stripes album if Elton John produces it. And that's a compliment. Weep Themselves to Sleep express this feeling the best. The mix of all those different genres are amazing. Truly a record that everybody jeeds to hear at least once.

Paranoid by Black Sabbath

First time hearing the album fullely. In my opinion the classics are still the biggest highlights of this project but the other songs have some really good Jazz licks wich dosen't really match with the rest of the album but still decent. War Pigs is a really good opener. Although the rest of the album is not as heavy as some of their other projects, it's still a good indicator of how the sound was developping at the time and shows how it's evolved to what the heavy metal sound is today.

Never really listened to Soul music too much but I'm glad this album was my introduction to it. Her voice and the instrumental is so relaxing I love it!

Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival

Ramble Tamble is solid opener. Has some prog rock elements mixed in. "Before you accuse" can only be described as a simple easy to play SRV song. I wouldnt be surprised if they were an inspiration to him. Travelin' Band is a classic. Has that Johnny B Good feel to it. Ooby Dooby makes you want to dance. Who'll stop the rain is a nice change of pace to the epic I heard it through the grapevine. This album is one of their best work.

Elephant by The White Stripes
Sep 29 2023

Solid project. I feel like my favourite ones are the one that "explodes" in sense where it starts pretty relaxed and goes to this enormous energy of pure rock. I didnt enjoy many songs in the first half or maybe they are just more forgettable but the second half was perfect. Jack White has something special.
