A rich tapestry of 70's funkadelic songs. Speed of Life is a slow build track that is almost a prologue for the entire album.

Absolutely superb ! An album that you can have on throughout the day that has a really warming touch. Eyes to the wind is a banger.

A superb album that has all the teenage angst that you want on a Thursday morning (when I listened to it). Both "Secrets" and "Play For Today" are my favourite two tracks.

Having never listened to a full Miles Davis album this didn't disappoint. If you were asked what a Miles Davis then this would be a perfect example.

This one isnt for me. I can't agree with the language being used and it just isnt one that I will listen to again.

Short sharp tracks that make the album feel fractured. I found it hard to follow any narrative or theme. Maybe this is one for a second play through to get more out of it.

My first time listening to this album and Singalong Junk stands out as an easy listening track that wouldn't go amiss in an early 1990's rom com film. Overall the album was well paced and accessible, but it left me wanting just that little bit more.

Easy listening. Anything spectacular? No. All brilliant tracks to have on in the background? Yes.

Two Weeks is the obvious banger, on this album, but I wasnt aware of the other bits from Grizzly. I enjoyed Ready, Able too.

"Broken" is criminally underatted, I feel. This album was a true 80's classic and I enjoyed every minute of it.

I couldn't really get a foot tap to any of the songs. All perfectly fine but nothing that wanted me to explore the catalogue any more.

Too "in itself" for me. It would have been a stalwart of its time (and just after) but there is no specific track that sets me alight.

So ... what is this ?! The album seems to be all over the place in terms of tone and genre. I think it starts on "psychadelic 70's summer of love" then goes to "light goth" with some "trance 80's" and I just can't work out if I like it or not.

Unfortunately this isnt one for me. It got the toes tapping but was, instantly, forgettable. Although I will try some others from the same artist.

It hits all of my nostalgic notes and has some true bangers on there. Great stuff

This album feels like a 90's NYC hip-hop album that may appeal to many but not to me.

I hate to say it, but I just coudn't get into the album. It seemed disjointed, to me.

I don't mind it, don't mind it at all.

My youth, University, early romance, nights out, driving lessons. This album really brings it all back !

A tad heavy for me, at parts. But there were some classic tunes in there.

Superb stuff. Black Mirror is hugely underatted.

I'm not 100% sure that all the tracks hit my high notes, but there is enough there to keep me entertained and keep my foot tapping.

A good album and my nostalgic heart wanted to give it a 4, but I can't say it is one that excites me so it will remain a 3.

There is a lightness to this album which gives it a tranquil quality.

The album is quite relaxing but there are one or two tracks that I just wouldnt listen to again.

Banger, Banger, Banger

A solid album but left me wanting a little more.

I didn't mind this one but no track really stood out to me.

Not for me. The voice is too warbly and the music doesnt excite me. Sorry

There are parts that I like but overall this album isnt my type of music.

This shouty, angry, stick two fingers up at everyone type of music is a full 180 on what I would normally enjoy.

No thank you. Morrissey has tainted his music with a far right outlook.

A wonderful mix of all the right nostalgia and banging tunes.

I love the depth and character to this album !

It's experimental but I can't find a steady pace with it.

I do love a country song but this isnt ticking my fancy !

I can't quite work out what this album is all about and it puts me off that the music genre seems to change quite a lot through the tracks.

A bit heavy for my liking. But it'll grow on me, I'm sure.

This album didn't quite get me excited but there was some foot tapping.

Just the one well known and loved song on here. The rest are far outside my wheelhouse.

There's a wonderful nostalgia to the music and a calmness to their voices.

Blimey. "On the Nickle" is a heck of an audio sensation. For me the vocals on that track are off-putting as Waits sounds in pain but the rest of the album is thoroughly enjoyable. 4/5.

Such an interesting album. It's as though Brian used up all his energy on the first three tracks and by the time he got to "Energy Fools The Magician" he thought he needed to slow it down!

The first few tracks are excellent but it then shifts to a different tone that I didn't enjoy

Maybe my tastes are changing but I have really enjoyed this album. It is atmospheric and welcoming.
