His ability to form melodies and harmonies is unparalleled. Interesting use of synths, I'd guess a contemporary of it's time. The songs are not all as refined as they could be, often there is a lot of musical noice to the pieces. Good, but if you didn't tell me what the stand out songs are I think I'd struggle to tell you the best songs on the album I did like the final song harmony, dreamy song. I can tell it's good but it's not a great match for me
I just want to have the strength to admit I actually liked this album to someone. Weird and artistic, melodically beautiful, playful tones, just cute. Nice album. Few stand outs, should revisit again.
Great guitar tone and good chops at times. I really enjoy live recorded albums and this likewise captures friends having fun jamming together around loosely defined songs. Few song moments to write home about but the focus is in the jam, and who doesn't like jam? No song writing to write home about but a solid album all the same
This album is brilliant. Every song is its own soundtrack. Fun songs, sad songs, serious songs, love songs. Brilliant vocals too. I can listen to this but also works as background music (if you want to feel like a positive Tarantino scene). Big fan.
This is an album. I can here how it inspired but honestly this album is empty in itself. The most notable thing about this album is the the year it came out.
I'd listened to songs previously and thought it was king gizzard. Amazing.
It's alright. One of those albums that'd inspire you to be in a band but it doesn't hold up to me.
Started strong then got weird for weird sake
Great live album Missing Baba O'Reilly for the big 5 though
Pretty cool, I imagine a cult classic
Weird not not characterful enough to pull it off
Brilliant. How have I not listened to all the recommendations before! Sexy last song too
Just a great album. Knows it's classic rock and executes it perfectly. Brian does well in the heels.
This is one of the first albums on here that reminded me it's not about loving the album, but you should definitely have listened to it at least once in your life. Great album.
I mean I love the pixies
Forgetful 80snrock. I'm sorry.
Sounds like a 90s band not 80s kinda cool
Wanted to love it at times but overall I didn't
Not as good as debut
It bops
Great prog album
4/5, but a 5/5 background live jazz album
Was going to give it 4 starts but I just keep coming back Very guitary, very me
I mean it slaps at times I see why she was such an icon
R A D I O H E A D
Decent funk album, potentially good background funk
It's just a 4, could have been a 5, but the performances let it down sometimes
Lots of guitar I guess
Its so well produced but I find so many songs slightly repetitive. Nearly 5/5
Some bangers, some fillers, good inspiration for a punk band
Almost had me at a great album in the first track Rest is very meh Odd album
Like walk on. Very chilly song and good guitar riff. Rest of the album is okay. I think this counts as mum rock
Should be good but not for me
This album slaps straight 10/10
First song is great and sets it up to be a lofi album. Rest is mid
Classic country, like the proper kind. Countrh not western. What's more to be said. Not a country man though...
With those 3 singles back to back it's timeless in itself. However the other tracks are musically not but bad but kinda meh. Suffers from MJ tax.
This is an accurate representation of insomnia. And why would you want to listen to that?
Like queen. Like singles. Filler is just decent queen. In all a good album if you like queen. Nuff said I guess.
Damn that's a deep crooner Birning songs though
I just let em... Slip awayy
Characterful for sure
Mother and child reunion opening riff is a trigger to throw me back to being around 10 years old in the kitchen Great album
This is an album I guess.
You can really hear the reggae influences throughout the album which is cool. It's well written and recorded, in all pretty solid. Definitely had more than a listen or two.
Obviously 5/5
Damn solid pop album. Some white girl anthems, some white mom anthems, some sad white girl ballads, very good all round!
Cute album, song or two on there I recognise? I'm all it's a nice acoustic duo (or trio I guess) album. Nice.
Don't bore us get to the chorus. Still bored. Sorry.
Phat first song. Proper skank face blues. Some great crooner tracks, some great ballads, this is Tom Waits in once of his peaks
Weirdly Eh Nothing wrong, everything works, but not for me
1 dimensional but quite good. Fun old timey background imo
Big Brain Jazz Very good Requires 400hz ears which I do not
Some good songs, some duds, but The Weight is god tier
This should be interesting but the performances are forgetful
This should be interesting but the performances are forgetful. Yes album was better 4/5
Not fussed but a few bangers.
Ahead of its time, almost fits in today
It's weird they have much better albums than this? It's the smiths but without any classics?
Oh just going to casually create one of the greatest blends of genres for a side project as you do? Wow cheers Damon
Probably pioneering but today, a bit shit
It's energetic and well written pop punk, 5/5 init
Class
Fun swing/ragtime
It's good but I am strangely not fussed. I find it weirdly forgettable
Classic rolling stones album
80s init Eh
