Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Nov 02 2023

Not bad, not a huge fan of the 9 minute song in the middle though, but other than that, a good album

Morrison Hotel by The Doors
Nov 04 2023

Not bad, not a massive fan, but its pretty good still. Only added one song to main playlist. Very good example of its time, and i like the usage of piano.

Bryter Layter by Nick Drake
Nov 06 2023

Pretty good, I liked it a lot more than i thought I would. Sunday also made it onto my prestigious Background Music playlist.

Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Nov 07 2023

Very generic, cookie cutter 80s rock. Very good for a debut album, but mediocre by itself.

Vivid by Living Colour
Nov 09 2023
Gris Gris by Dr. John
Nov 10 2023

This sucks, a slog to get through.

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Nov 11 2023

This entire album had amazing use of fairly nontraditional instruments. Very unique sounds, and Paul Simon is a good vocalist.

...The Dandy Warhols Come Down by The Dandy Warhols
Nov 12 2023

Some pretty good beats, but none of these songs needed to be nearly as long as they were.

Clube Da Esquina by Milton Nascimento
Nov 13 2023

So boring man, also, I couldn’t understand any words but thats my own fault for not knowing Spanish. The only thing I could see this working for is just something you have on in the background, but even then, it would get boring after maybe 3 songs.

Aja by Steely Dan
Nov 14 2023
This Year's Model by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Nov 15 2023

Pretty catchy songs

Leftism by Leftfield
Nov 16 2023

This album, albeit obscenely long, had some interesting tracks. I like the alien kind of sounds, and I think “Melt” is what the Pokémon Diamond’s intro sampled from. (Specifically the shimmer sounds.) Pretty good beats as well. Also, I’m pretty sure that “original” uses the sound of a microwave button being pushed?

Feb 26 2024
Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Mar 30 2024
Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Apr 10 2024
Ghosteen by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Apr 30 2025

Each song is a bad poem disguising itself as music. Like the opposite of leonard cohen, terrible lyrics but pretty good vocals. The backing instruments do not belong in a song, they belong in a video game montage. Most notable song is Leviathan, the by far worst in the album. Hollywood seems to be the favourite of Nick Cave, as it’s the only one with any emotion behind it. Or maybe he was just grateful that the album was finally over, like me. (A little harsh, i didn’t actually mind listening to hollywood)

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
May 01 2025

Aggressively 60s and pretty fun to listen to

The Wall by Pink Floyd
May 02 2025

Very interesting that basically the entire album is one song. This is my first time listening to Pink Floyd, and I doubt I would listen to them otherwise cause in general they aren’t really my style. However, I can respect the impact that this album has, and will admit that it is very good, and I did actually enjoy listening to it. No standout tracks, because again, this album is basically just one song. Although, if I had to pick one, it would be Comfortably Numb. (Surprising, I know)

Funeral by Arcade Fire
May 03 2025

I really liked the sound of this one. My standout would be Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels). I love the use of violin in that one, and the lyrics spoke to me in a weird way.

Butterfly by Mariah Carey
May 08 2025

These songs would be a lot more tolerable if they were 2-3 mins long each instead of 5-6.

Harvest by Neil Young
May 09 2025
Hard Again by Muddy Waters
May 10 2025

All of the songs sound identical

Hotel California by Eagles
May 16 2025

The only worthwhile song on this album is Hotel California. The rest are terrible. Since the song after which the album is named would easily be 5 stars by itself, that bumps its rating up. If the entire album was just that one song I would be way happier.

Ten by Pearl Jam
May 17 2025
The Stooges by The Stooges
May 23 2025
