Amnesiac by Radiohead

Fine if I wanted to fall asleep

All Directions by The Temptations
Jan 10 2024

Rolling stone is the best song. Others are alright but none hooked me

Zombie by Fela Kuti
Jan 11 2024

Zombie is the best song which I already listen to. Even with only 4 songs on the album it's easy to see the pattern. Jam out some Jazz for 20 minutes then do some standard lyrics and chorus for the last 5 minutes Enjoyable but nothing new that hooked me

Pretenders by Pretenders
Jan 12 2024

It's alright. Not really my thing

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Jan 15 2024

Couldn't finish it. Just can't stand this genre

GREY Area by Little Simz
Jan 26 2024

Mercifully short. Not really a genre I listen to often. Most song really didn't do it for me and I had to skip them, Boss being the worst. I did like Venom though.

Jan 29 2024

It is pretty bland. Nice enough you can have it on in the background but nothing that would make me want to listen to any of it again

Jan 30 2024

Meh. It all kind of blends together. Even for artists I don't like I can see the appeal, but here I don't see why people like Morrissey and his projects like this.

Jan 31 2024

For the older people, you remember when the Internet was still relatively new? Where hip hop artists would put music on all sorts of websites like Newgrounds or whatever and they were raw, kinda wacky, and kinda bad? Many songs on this album remind me of that. There are good beats here but the Mikes flow isn't up to par. I'm glad I heard this though, it's so close to being good. Unlike a lot of albums in this site, I can see why this is here

A Date With The Everly Brothers by The Everly Brothers
Feb 01 2024

If I were a swooning teen in the 60s this probably would have meant more to me. Love hurts is familiar, but rest is a little too old

Here's Little Richard by Little Richard
Feb 05 2024

Enjoyable even though the songs all sound very similiar

More Specials by The Specials
Feb 07 2024

The deluxe version that I listened to is too long. A lot of the songs sounded like they were recorded live but we're studio so there's some mixing issue or something the remaster couldn't fix. Some of the vocals were pretty hard to listen to especially the female vocals on 'I can't stand it'

Damaged by Black Flag

Sound Affects by The Jam
Feb 21 2024

Initially I expected yet another boring uk rock band that dominate this list, but I was pleasantly surprised and there were some moments I enjoyed the album

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Feb 22 2024

Nostalgia carried this hard.

Head Hunters by Herbie Hancock
Feb 26 2024

Originally only knew this guy from his song Rockit which is very different from this album. It started off strong but ended poorly

Celebrity Skin by Hole
Feb 29 2024

Has one good song, rest is forgettable
